Chapter 141 - Vicious snake

"Mom, she is my wife not a vicious snake." Michael said in anger. He can't control on hearing her mother calling Sara a vicious snake when the snake is so close to her and she is feeding her.

"And mom, a vicious snake is not Sara but someone who is close to you. Be careful." Michael warned her before leaving the room. He closed the door in anger, his mother didn't even know how to judge people and she was bad mouthing Sara. He can't hold it.

He went to his room and saw Sara looking at her phone, not noticing him. He stood at the door silently watching her. In his mind every word of his mother was repeating. Even thinking about his mother's words was enough to make him furious.

"When did you come?" Sara asked as she showed him standing in front of the door and busy in his world. She got up from the bed completely forgetting about her leg.

She was about to fall when Michael caught her. He touched his temple and sighed seeing her being so clumsy. "Can't you be careful?" Michael exclaimed, he was getting more and more worried about her. She was getting into more trouble than before. "I am sorry, I forgot." Sara explained with a pout.

"You will not walk until that heals." Michael announced before carrying in his arms to their car. He didn't even let her speak before carrying her. Sara just wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled in his c.h.e.s.t. The warmth of his making her comfortable and safe. She felt like she was in heaven. She didn't even realize when she fell asleep in his arms.

Michael chuckled seeing her felt asleep like a baby in his arms. He didn't disturb her by waking her up. He just put her on the seat before driving off from the back. Michael knew about the reporters waiting outside so he just drove off from the behind knowing there would be no one in the back.

--------

Somewhere in a bar.

Anna was sitting in the bar, drinking some wines. She was already drunk but still she was drinking. Her face was flushed red because of drinking, she looked at the couples on the dance floor dancing around in joy. Her looks hinted loneliness and sadness seeing the couple.

Anna was a party type but she never fell for guys or did anything. She flirts with some but still she never crossed the line. But she had always felt empty in her heart, she was getting more lonely feelings after her sister's marriage, she was not jealous of her, she was happy but she wanted someone too in her life whom she was desperately waiting for.

"Hey gorgeous, why are you drinking alone. Let me join you." A guy sat down beside her, seeing she was all alone and already drunk. She was easy targets for guys like him.

"Sure" Anna scoffed and asked the waiter for another glass for the man.

Anna was comfortably drinking her wine as if she didn't care about him ogling her whole time. She finished her drink and started to get up from her place, when the guy held on to her waist and slid his hands below it. Anna felt what he wanted, she caught her hand in the midway and snapped his hand away.

Glaring at him, "Don't you dare." She left towards outside, warning him. She tried to walk straight even though she couldn't.

The guy flabbergasted by Anna's behavior. Few minutes ago she didn't mind his flirting but when he tried to take a step ahead, her expression became scary as if she would kill him with that expression.

But he was not that easy, he liked that girl and she will have her tonight no matter how much she denies. He went behind Anna with his thoughts of having her.

Anna was already at the doorway, trying to stand up straight, he saw her and he got excited about having her.

"Honey, let's have some fun tonight." He wrapped his arms around her tightly from back. Anna tried to escape from his hands, she was stunned for a minute when someone from behind came and hugged her tightly. She was already tipsy from those continuous drinks and when suddenly someone hugged her, it was surprising for her.

She tried to remove his hand but he hugged so tightly it was difficult for her to get out of his hands.

"I said leave me." Anna shouted at him in anger after not being able to escape.

"Honey, stop being angry. I promise I will make you feel good today." The guy replied without letting her go.

"You bloody pig," Anna stomped on his feet in anger. The man shrieked out feeling the pain in his feet and remove his hands from her. This gave Anna to escape from him easily. She turned around and glared at him with her cold and ruthless eyes.

"I told you to let me go. Can't you understand?" Anna said in a cold tone enough to make his heart beat in nervousness and chill down his spine.

"I...I am so…" he could not even complete his words before Anna kicked him on his main part, making him fall on the ground in pain. He growled in pain, curling up his body into a ball.

"Too late to say sorry, it was light this time next time I will not leave you lightly." She walked away saying him, her words.

Someone from the corner was watching all those from the whole time. He smirked seeing her daring way. She didn't even asked for other help and teached the man a lesson.

"Interesting." He said with a playful smile. He got up from his place and followed Anna. Anna didn't notice that someone was following her the whole time.

She felt dizziness surrounding her, but she still tried to manage to go to her car. She was trying to open her car when she saw a shadow of someone on the car's window, the face was blurry, Anna turned around to see who it was.
