Chapter 125: Updating Hunter Licenses!

-----

Noah and his group walked inside the building as they were greeted by a large group of people walking around, working relentlessly, while some Hunter groups waited for their turns in the line patiently.

Yeah, this was society, so they still had to wait in line for their turn…

"Should we wait?" asked Arthur.

"Of course," said Noah.

As they joined the line, Noah patiently waited for his turn, feeling like hurrying up or making a scene just to be attended first would simply lower his reputation more, even more whenever he was to make his own guild.

Most of the Hunters present here were F-Rank and E-Rank, with very few being D-Rank, about one to two being C-Rank, and no Hunters above those Ranks, confirming that they were indeed very rare occurrences.

Noah and his group were eyeing all of them, there were some famous faces they had once seen on TV, although they were now pathetic to them, almost like ants… to think that they had once admired or looked up to them made them a bit sick, especially because Noah and his family could only see them as food now, their smell and the auras they produced only made them higher quality products…

"(Hungry… Can I grab some food?)" asked Adamantine through telepathy, her eyes glowing red from time to time.

"(Calm down, not now… However, this is an excellent time to select which prey we could take…)" answered Noah through telepathy.

"(Hm, maybe a D-Rank Hunter… or a group of them could be nice? We could get decent Ability Core drops and nice Blood Servants out of them!)" said Iris through telepathy.

"(Could it be possible to brainwash them instead of killing them? If we do, we could widen our connections around the society of Hunters too… We can leave the weaker F-Rank or E-Rank for food.)" said Arthur through telepathy.

"(I was about to say that. It is a good idea, Arthur. Although we will have to plan it out a bit more if they are D-Rank or above… They are strong, although we could easily crush them, their powers and everything else is way flashier, so they could cause commotion and end up revealing our presence…)" said Noah through telepathy.

"(Well, now that we are B-Rank, I can't wait for the Crystal family to attack us, we can quickly grab a meal then.)" said Timassa through telepathy.

"(Indeed, we shall feast in their blood when the time is ripe…)" said Noah through telepathy.

"(Wasn't there a B-Rank within them?)" asked Arthur through telepathy.

"(Yes… there was one.)" answered Iris through telepathy.

"(I believe that if we all group together against it, it might not even stand a chance)" said Jon through telepathy.

"(Nonetheless, we must plan accordingly. Never let our current powers get in our heads. We have to be cautious, plan, to be stealthy, we are still preparing some surprises around our territory… But whenever the fight comes, we must all keep together and never get ahead of ourselves, if possible, we must go all out immediately to defeat them as fast as possible and not even give them a chance.)" answered Noah through telepathy.

"(Indeed, it is just as Noah-sama says… And the Crystal Family will not be the only problem. I am guessing that more Guilds will have their eyes in us eventually…)" sighed Iris through telepathy.

"(More or less… But as a B-Rank Guild, they will not jump ahead recklessly too. As Hunters grow stronger they also supposedly become more intelligent, so you would expect some grade of preparation on their part. They might be wary and prepare for eventual things, and so, we must do so as well…)" said Noah through telepathy.

"(So making a Guild and leaving School means that we are mostly entering a new battlefield altogether…)" said Arthur through telepathy.

"(Indeed. And it will be the biggest, most likely… And alongside that, we will have to also deal with the problem with Gates and more. As long as we keep improving, we will be capable of getting through all of this. After all, no matter how repetitive I may sound, strength is everything in this world.)" said Noah through telepathy.

"(Although it will be dangerous, I can't wait for such an exhilarating future…)" said Iris through telepathy.

All Vampires seemed to agree with Iris's statement.

It was going to interesting, and perhaps hard as well…

But it was going to be exhilarating too.

As Vampires, they could not help but feast in challenges and battles, in blood and flesh, they felt the instinctual desire to go through such challenges and reign victorious, bathing in the blood of their accursed enemies.

As the party continued chatting through telepathy, the hours went by, and it was finally their turn, at last…

If they were not Vampires their legs would be hurting right now because of standing up for so long… but thankfully they did not felt anything at all, and were having fun by talking a lot.

The attendant quickly received the group, she was a young woman in her early twenties, with short pink hair and green eyes, alongside a petite body, Noah immediately sensed that she was a D-Rank Hunter, somewhat decent, but nothing outstanding, perhaps weaker than Albert.

"Hello, are you a Hunter Party by any chance?" she asked.

"Indeed. Here are our Hunter Registration Cards, we had come to renew our Hunter Ranks. We would like to do it immediately and without any difficulties if possible," said Noah rather politely with a charming smile, his eyes seemed to unleash a slight purple essence, making the girl a bit submissive to his demands, without asking much… this was the subtle effect of Noah's Vampiric Eyes.

"O-Oh, a Rank renovation? I can feel that you are indeed strong, please through here. We have a room for a Magic Artifact that can decipher the Stats of people, through that, we will be able to quickly decipher your Ranks," said the woman, guiding Noah and the rest inside a small room where a large crystal ball rested above a table.

"Artifact? Does it see Skills…?" asked Noah.

"Oh, no, there isn't any artifact so advanced that it could let us see an entire Stat Panel of another person. At least not in the entire Sector, but perhaps in other ones, especially those with a Hunter with the Appraisal Skill, perhaps… But these Artifacts calculate your stats only, and not completely exactly… But it almost always works," said the girl.

"I see, then I shall start," said Noah, as he touched the crystal ball after sitting on the couch in front of it.

Flash!

Suddenly, the crystal began to tremble, as an enormous quantity of power began to be poured into it from Noah!

Noah felt like his Blood Core was shining!

He quickly took away his hands from it, as he saw as a little crack emerged in the artifact…

Thankfully, he had just taken out his hands before anything happened.

"W-Wow… I have never seen an artifact tremble like that…" said the girl, as she quickly went to a computer at the side and began to calculate the stats…

"I see… you are… hmm… Oh… I… Eh? Huh? What? …You… Sir Noah, are you…?! Oh my god! You are a B-Rank Hunter!" said the woman, almost falling off her chair in surprise!

"Yes, my stats are all above 600," said Noah.

"That's amazing! It has been over two years since a B-Rank Hunter appeared in Sector D! T-This merits a lot of things, I must tell my superiors! You will get a lot of things, sir Noah! Even-" muttered the woman, as she was stopped by Noah.

"Please, register my subordinates as well first… I am sure that you will not be disappointed…" said Noah with a malicious smile.

"E-Eh? (W-What with this… strange aura?)" wondered the woman.

"Will you?" asked Noah, his eyes gleaming with a purple hue.

"S-Sure… Alright…" said the woman, as Iris was registered, then Arthur, Timassa, Jon, and Adamantine…

The artifact was barely making it after that.

The woman had already fallen off her char multiple times.

Her eyes could not get any more surprised and scared by the presence…

She glanced at each of Noah's subordinates, each one released a dark aura of enormous power…

They were all…

"B-Rank… All of you… is B-Rank… Oh my god… This… This is perhaps… the greatest event that has happened to this Sector for years… B-Ranks are incredibly rare… and here you are… so many of you… here…! And you are telling me that you were F-Rank before? How can you advance to B-Rank so fast? Oh my god…" sighed the woman, trying to keep her sanity, as Noah finally allowed her to call her superiors…

It seems that it was inevitable, they were about to make a bit of history.
