Chapter 183: Noah's Schemes Even Involve God Himself!

-----

God was screaming in agony inside of his Divine Realm.

After his fight against Noah, where it used a fraction of its power trying to take away his System, it ended being bitten by him until it began to bleed, the entire fragment of power it used to extend a white hand towards Noah's soul and steal his powers was shattered and eaten.

Whatever was left wasn't even the hand but a faint white power the returned to God, although it was completely contaminated by crimson red energy, which came from Noah's very Blood Core.

The many minds of God screamed in pain for many hours, until the wound finally closed and the searing pain, which was the pain directly inflicted into the soul, a pain equivalent to x100 times the pain inflicted into a physical body finally faded away…

The crimson-red color also faded away, as the minds finally calmed down… although many of them were negatively affected by Noah.

Most of them had grown fearful of the Vampire, while others seemed to not want to do anything with him ever again.

Some were wrathful, however, although they were very few now. Many of the rather brave minds ended up regretting everything they tried to do, Noah was not someone that they could mess with.

As an entity that needed to take care of Earth and use its energy for that purpose, wasting it in Noah, someone that could potentially help them later on, was a foolish decision.

But due to their stubbornness, they had to experience a lot of pain to understand.

Perhaps they could actually kill Noah if they used more of their power, but they cannot descend to the surface without causing a massive cataclysm that would kill thousands if not millions, ad shooting a ray from the sky would most likely do the same thing, being a divine entity with great quantities of energy made it hard to calculate how much energy they were able to input into their attacks.

A slight mistake on their aim and the entire Sector D would be blasted into ashes.

This is why the best thing they could do against Noah was taking away his System.

But at the end… he managed to bite their divine white hand, infect it, devour it, and even infect his own System Seed (or Cube as he named it), fusing it with his own Blood Core and Soul, and making his Status part of his very being…

Now, God was incapable of taking away this power.

Some of the more wrathful minds had considered at least taking the power away from his subordinates or anyone close to him, but they all shared a deep connection with his soul, if they were to act, Noah would most likely sense it and retaliate, biting them again and gaining even more power.

In the end, they decided to stay away from him.

Noah had already grown particularly stronger after stealing power from them and eating Excalibur, and in fact, he had gained too much power, so he had sealed such power until he could grow stronger to assimilate it and use it better without such overflowing power killing him.

It was thanks to their foolishness that their "enemy" who had eaten their precious Excalibur and corrupted it ended up becoming even stronger and had reached A-Rank strength on their Hunter Rank.

The minds of God seemed conflicted.

Some were still afraid of him, others didn't want to have anything to do with him, and some other minds wanted to contact him and show him that they had no ill intentions anymore and that in fact, they wanted their help to deal with the dangers to come.

Nonetheless, because they were many minds in one God, they were not able to properly decide what to do and kept resting while discussing with themselves.

Although most minds were unaware of this, the minds that had grown devoted to Noah grew in size, and more and more emerged each passing day.

It seemed that his Guidance grew even larger on them as Noah ate a piece of them, funnily enough.

And aside from that…

A strange, blood-red lump of energy kept digging deep into the vast divine soul of God.

It multiplied slowly yet steadily, making more and more of itself, and spreading around the soul.

It quickly reached those encroached by Noah's guidance as these blood-red lumps of energy fused with them…

These minds of God kept this as a secret from the other main minds, as they helped this strange entity multiply…

Soon enough, it might take over the entire soul one day…

-----

Noah smiled maliciously at the question of his subordinates.

What he had done to God was not only biting and shattering a piece of it.

He was way more opportunistic than to simply leave it to go away like that.

He had seen the open soul wound it had after the large hand crumbled into pieces, and had decided to leave a "gift".

What gift?

"You did what you did with the Lady of the Lake? I remember you said something about… parasitizing it with your soul? Like you divided yourself and ate her from the inside out… Fufu, that might have been a nice thing to see~!" said Iris with a smile.

"Indeed, Iris. I simply divided a large piece of my soul and gave God a gift of my gratitude. I can't help but be grateful after he had given us such a good meal. The least I could do is to share a bit of my own… hospitality," said Noah with a pleasant smile.

"Amazing… you managed to parasitize that super strong thing? How is it going? Is it actually working?" asked Arthur.

"It is working, slowly. But there are minds within God that had actually become guided. If I can use them to hide my soul parasites and slowly eat away Soul from the inside out… It could be possible to take over it eventually. Although I am not sure how long that might take…" said Noah.

"Impressive… Our Lord might one day really become a God," said Clementina.

"Amazing, this all was according to Noah-sama's plans!" said Timassa.

"I couldn't expect less from him. Noah-sama has done many fantastical things, I cannot wait for the day that he can take over the world and make it his domain," said Jon as his eyes gleamed with purple light.

As Noah grew stronger, his subordinates also grew stronger at his side by undergoing challenges at his side, and so did their devotion to him, which grew larger and larger. Noah was nothing else than an immensely glorious being to him.

To any ordinary person, their devotion wouldn't be anything else than complete insanity, but this devotion was closely related to their bloodlines and Noah's authority over them, as he had converted them into Undead races through his bite, or the bite of those he bit, they all instinctively saw him as someone great, and through his actually impressive feats, such belief intensified even further, to insane levels.

"Does that means that you can see and heard what it is thinking?" asked Arthur.

"A bit. The minds that were devoted to me and which I had parasitized tell me a bit of what the other minds think. They all seem mostly fearful, and don't want to do anything with me anymore… Although some seem to want to help them in something that is yet to come…" said Noah.

"Something… yet to come?" asked Iris.
