Chapter 203: Entering the A-Rank Dungeon!

-----

After checking on the Status Panel of everyone, Noah and his party already reached the A-Rank Dungeon Gate that they desired to enter, it was the one with the biggest aura… An aura of darkness and crimson red colors that exuded an air of maliciousness.

Due to having gone all the way to A-Rank after fighting God's Hand, Noah and the rest of his group didn't felt any particular need to go to a B-Rank Dungeon, and went to an A-Rank Dungeon immediately, skipping one Rank.

"Here we are…" said Noah, admiring the gate.

A-Rank Gates were said to be extremely dangerous, any monster that could escape from them could endanger the life of an entire Sector.

It was once reported that within Sector C, an A-Rank Gate had emerged in the middle of the city once. At that time, no A-Rank Hunters were in the city, and it took only a single monster escaping from that gate to massacre over a hundred people in 7 hours.

No modern weaponry worked, and even the most advanced robots at that time were only able to hold back the monster for a few minutes before being crushed.

The beast, in particular, was an Ogre Warrior, and it even took the life of two B-Rank Hunters before going down…

The sole thought of all these A-Rank Gates freeing monsters into Sector D made chills run through the spine of all the people living there…

But Noah was not going to let these monsters take over his dominion.

"So this is an A-Rank Gate…" said Arthur.

"Such an enormous pressure… It runs chills through my entire body… Even after growing this strong… there are still many challenges ahead…" said Timassa.

"Indeed… I will do my best… But I am counting on all of you too…" said Jon, bracing himself to not sound timid.

"I am hungry… Is there any meat there? Let's go already!" said Adamantine, she didn't even felt fear anymore.

"That's right, there are many challenges ahead… And indeed, Adamantine, there's meat inside… Fufu" laughed Iris.

"I will protect your back, my lords," said Clementina with a confident nod, her eyes emanated a cold and strong presence.

"Uwah… Are we allowed to get in here?" wondered Sakura.

"Sakura, we have grown strong enough to be at the side of our Lord, don't get cold feet now," said Noire.

"Yeah, I used to be a repair bot but I am ready to get in!" said Sugar.

"E-Eh? I am not getting ay cold feet!" said Sakura.

"Then follow me," said Noah, as he walked inside the gate without doubting a single second, everyone else quickly ran after him, getting inside the gate one by one.

The military glanced with surprise at how boldly they entered into the gate without asking permission or something, they simply did it and that was it.

Ivan was still in a strange, paralyzed state, and they couldn't get him to give any order.

When another soldier came to replace him, he decided that there wasn't anything they could possibly do to stop such a strong guild as the Noctem Family, although some soldiers wanted to ban their permission to enter the gates due to their arrogance and insolence, they were not able to voice out their opinions due to sheer fear.

After all, they didn't want to even talk with Noah nor Iris, as they feared that they could do whatever they did to Ivan to them.

Noah's perception and senses warped around as he entered through the Gate like it always did when he entered a Dungeon Gate.

All types of colors rushed through his eyes as he saw space and time twist around his entire body.

He felt as if his body was going through many thin membranes that broke at each step.

And then.

Flash.

The scenery completely changed as Noah glanced at his surroundings.

He found… a garden.

In fact, it was rather similar to Arthur's mother's rose garden, but this garden covered the entire place.

Noah glanced at the sky as he saw a beautiful starry night, with two moons resting over the skies, glancing at him as if they were the eyes of a god.

The biggest moon was crimson red, while the second, much smaller one was green.

This Dungeon was probably similar to the Desert Dungeon, which showed the skies and a vast landscape ahead, although there were invisible spatial walls that he could not cross that defined the space within the dungeon.

The rose garden was made in a way that resembled an extensive labyrinth, any normal party of Hunters would have difficulties orienting themselves within this place, but not Noah's party, as they had Jon.

Noah had tried to fly over the large walls made of vines and roses, but there was a strong and invisible ceiling that he was not able to go through, pushing anyone that tried to fly over it.

The rest of the party quickly entered the Gate, as they were amazed by the beautiful scenery.

"Oh… The first time I find a Dungeon beautiful…" said Iris.

"Indeed, this is… eh? It reminds me of my mother's rose garden…" said Arthur.

"Jon…" said Noah, as Jon nodded.

His eyes were closed as his senses quickly began to observe the entire place. Within seconds, the entire dungeon was registered with his Panoptic Vision.

"It's big… goes a bit beyond my Panoptic Vision, which was able to cover the entire Sector D… But I have more or less mapped the Labyrinth. Several monsters are lurking around, they hide as the plants. Additionally, the labyrinth is but the start of the dungeon, afterwards there is a large castle, where an even stronger aura emanates from. If we walk enough, I believe I can map the castle and see what's inside," said Jon.

"Alright then, lead the way, Jon," said Noah.

Noah and everyone else began to wander through the large Rose Garden Labyrinth of the Dungeon, which was so big that Jon was barely able to completely scan.

Thanks to Jon's guidance and his special ability, however, the exploration of such a confusing Dungeon became smother orientation-wise.

Nonetheless, not long after they entered, monsters quickly blocked their path, and in the dozens right away!

"GRRYSSHA…!"

What Jon had said was right, the monsters that emerged from the Rose Garden Labyrinth were the roses of the garden itself, which camouflaged as the labyrinth's walls made of vines and roses.

The beasts resembled masses of spiky and venomous vines covered on roses of different colors, they often took the form of octopus-like monsters, and based on the color of the roses they held, their abilities varied greatly.

The first group they confronted was composed of five Red-colored roses and ten Black-colored roses.

The roses that made up the "head" of the monsters had a large and beady eye, which seemed to be their weak point.

Red-colored roses seemed to specialize in offense and were even able to conjure magic, while the black-colored roses specialized in defense and acted as shields, having harder spikes and vines, perhaps harder than any non-magical metal.

"Oh, what a nice welcoming party we got here…" said Noah, as his claws grew larger and monstrous.
