The Accursed Tree King groaned in pain, as his loud agonizing cry resonated through the entire battlefield!
Iris crushed his entire body into the ground while shrouding her body with her Spectral Soul-Beast Aura, and then turning it into physical matter through Soul-Beast Embodiment, crushing him as if she had turned into an enormous meteor!
BOOOOOM!
"NNNGAAAAAAGGHH…!"
"DIE!"
Iris roared, as she unleashed all of her powers over the resilient bastard of a tree!
Her Spectral Soul shaped into gigantic claws, tearing apart all of his wood into chunks and throwing it away while targeting his soul to deal extra damage!
"NNNNGAAAAAAGGH…! No…! NOT YET! For my lord…! I have to take you down!!!"
Suddenly, several memories crossed through the mind of the Accursed Tree King, remembering his past as he met with his lord, his owner, and his master, Beelzebub.
In their world, The Accursed Tree King was born as a mere sprout that was once tamed by
Beelzebub, he remembered such times with tenderness, as he slowly grew at the side of his young master when he was a mere child, helping him through the many challenges and tragedies that ensued through his life, always being at his side no matter what!
Even after Beelzebub lost everything in his life, even when he wandered the world of Demons and survived however he could, the Accursed Tree King was always with him, helping him survive, sheltering him within his roots, and always giving him encouraging words…
This resolve to help and serve his master filled his mind with determination! He was not going down without doing everything he could to expel these intruders that came from another world to invade his lord's territory, which had been suddenly trapped within a space-time anomaly!
"Noo… NOT ENOUGH! GRUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHH! I will turn your soul into ashes!"
The Accursed Tree King braced himself with blazing resolve to defeat Iris, and Iris herself sensed such enormous willpower, she recognized his power!
"Impressive…! Then go all out, show me how devoted you are to your master!" roared Iris, incentivizing the old tree monster to fight and go all out!
There was something within her, perhaps it was mere selfishness, or the "pride" that Noah always talked about, but for the first time since she began to fight, she felt like she wanted to know what her foe was all about, she wanted him to show her what he was truly made of!
BOOOOM!
An enormous explosion of blue flames and purple flames resonated through the entire battlefield, as Iris and the Accursed Tree King unleashed the power of their abilities!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
As if they were constantly clashing, blue flames and purple flames exploded constantly, both of them had enough power to cancel each other!
The gigantic explosions started to make the entire world shake, as even space itself trembled by the shockwaves!
"HAAAAAH!" roared Iris, unleashing her will and flames against the last bit of the Accursed Tree King, who was unleashing his very soul into the battle, he was no longer a being of wood, but of pure purple flames!
"GRRRUUUOOOOOOHHH!" The Accursed Tree King roared even louder, thinking about his master with all of his might, he needed to suppress this threat at all costs!
Even if it meant his own life!
FLASH!
"Oh? You…!"
Iris quickly realized that the Accursed Tree King suddenly unleashed a strange technique, converting his very soul into a bomb!
His soul began to inflate like a balloon, as his crimson eyes gleamed eerily, Iris could clearly see a smile within his very soul!
"This is it, young lady! DIE WITH ME!" he laughed, as Iris was suddenly engulfed in an enormous explosion!
…Or was she?
"Eh? W-Why… Am I not exploding?!"
Suddenly, he realized that there was an enormous, phantasmal claw grasping the very center of his soul!
She was holding in the innermost of his very soul, the place he was going to use to detonate himself, the Soul Core!
"I see… so in this world, you beings possess these crystals inside your souls…!"
Iris began to absorb all the excess mana the Accursed Tree King was infusing into this strange jewel inside of his soul, and then, she started to grip it tightly, and beginning to use Soul Devour!
Crack, crack!
Instead of inflating and exploding, the Accursed Tree King felt as if his soul was cracking like glass!
Iris had begun to eat his soul!
"No! Agh! Don't you dare! GRRUAAAAHHHHH…!"
"I am sorry but I couldn't resist the urge! You already showed me what you had, now let me show you what I can do! Gyahahahahaha~!"
Iris laughed in the form of a monstrous beast made of phantoms, as she tightly gripped the soul of the Accursed Tree King, and started to devour it bite by bite!
Crunch, crunch, crunch!
"Nnnggggyyyyyyaaaahhhhh…! Lord…! Beelzebub…! MAAAASSTEEEEEEEERRRR…!"
CRASH!
Screaming in agony, the Accursed Tree King, whose body had already turned into ashes had his soul completely shattered and eaten by Iris!
Letting out a last cry for his Master, he was annihilated!
Suddenly, silence took place on the battlefield, as Iris absorbed the power within the soul of this powerful Hidden Boss.
Her Aura grew stronger and bigger, as she smiled devilishly, Adamantine waved her tail in excitement, as she had been destroying dozens of normal Accursed Tree Monsters while letting her master defeat the big boss.
"Fufu, that was a nice meal… Though, now I feel bad… I should have left it for Master to turn into a Blood Soul Servant…" sighed Iris.
"Good work, Iris. However, don't relax!" said Noah through telepathy, as he felt the presence of three powerful entities surging from within the soil of the battlefield!
As they marched forward and annihilated whole armies of monsters that keep emerging, three Hidden Bosses were suddenly triggered after the death of the Accursed Tree King!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three gigantic figures jumped out of the soil, spiraling around, and falling over the ground!
The first Hidden Boss that emerged after the death of the Accursed Tree King was an enormous mass of sharp and spiky vines coated in poison, it was as big as 10 meters, and it had several tentacles that constantly secreted toxic liquids. Over its vine body, there were over twenty different roses of all colors, each one holding an eye, gleaming with terrifying crimson light.
The second Hidden Boss that emerged seemed to be a bigger version of the giant bugs that looked like a mix between bees and flies, its body was over 7 meters and it held long wings that resembled those of moths, it had two crimson eyes filled with tiny eyes, and a lot of hair covering its limbs and abdomen.
It had a sharp stinger overflowing with poison, and sharp claws in each limb, alongside a bright red jewel in the middle of its two eyes.
And the third Hidden Boss that emerged was different than the others, resembling a gigantic golem made of black ore and colorful crystals, being as tall as 15 meters. Its enormous fists could easily tear down buildings, which were also filled with sharp crystals making them deadlier. It had a single square-shaped purple jewel in the middle of its "head" which seemed to be its eye.
All three of them exuded enormous pressures, making the monsters around tremble in fear…
