Chapter 226: Intense Fight Above A Lake of Poison

As the eels charged against everyone, they were first intercepted by the large army of flying Blood Soul Servants, who raised their crystalized blood weapons and began to unleash all sorts of attacks, while several others opted to attack through long-ranged projectiles.
Pride flew towards the first Eel, rushing towards it and raising his claws, catching it with them and beginning to tear it down with his dozens of jaws!
"GRAAAHAHAHA! What a fitting challenge!" he laughed, he who used to take down countless monsters was being made busy with a single one now!
The gigantic Poison Eel (as Noah has decided to call them), began to cover its body with acidic poison, melting Pride's claws within seconds of hitting its scales!
Pride, however, didn't give in, as it resisted the powerful bites of the beast and opened its many jaws, charging energy within them and firing powerful breath attacks against it, dozens of them at the same time, all in the form of beams of crimson flames.
BOOOOOMMM!!!
The beams of crimson flames fell all over the enormous and monstrous multi-eyed Eel, as it groaned in pain, its entire head began to heat and melt away, ultimately exploding!
BOOM!
The headpieces began to fall all over the place, splattering through the lake as Noah used this opportunity to raise his first Blood Soul Servant of the Dungeon!
Dropping a drop of his blood over it, the entire floating corpse began to tremble, as a perfect replication of the creature emerged from within it, but made entirely out of the blood and coated in crystallized blood scales.
The monstrous Blood Servant Eel began to swim around and attack anything on sight, distracting the other eels, ad giving openings for everyone else to continue fighting!
Aside from the Blood Soul Servants who began to attack the gigantic eels in conjunction, Noah's party was also doing everything they could, firing long-ranged elemental attacks against one, targeting it!
Noah decided to use this opportunity to take it down while everyone weakened it from the sides!
FLASH!
Demonic Vampiric Blood Wings to generate large wings made of blood, alongside Crimson Wind Impulsion to impulse his own body through the use of crimson winds, Noah reached the targeted Eel right away!
He noticed that Iris and Adamantine were slowly tearing apart its scales with their attacks, while everyone else was using long-ranged attacks to not get too close to the poison except Arthur, who was fighting in close combat by using his black light, as these beasts were immune to his poison just as much as he was to theirs.
As the Eel was overwhelmed, Noah acted, conjuring the Bloodshot Eye Evocation: Ray of the Unknown Spell!
FLASH!
A sudden gate opened right above Noah, as an enormous bloodshot eye glared directly at the Eel, startling it, and scaring it to death!
And then…!
BOOM!
A flashing red laser hit the Eel directly, blasting its entire head into pieces!
Thanks to everyone's effort previously, the beast's head was weakened enough for Noah to finish it off quickly!
"RISE!"
Noah raised the Eel immediately after, as the beast rushed against another Eel that dozens of Blood Servants were struggling to keep in check, entangling its body around it and biting it all over with its sharp jaws!
Noah and his party immediately knew that these Eels were way too tough, they wouldn't be able to wipe out them with single attacks, and had to gang on them shamelessly with everything they had to take them down one by one, which reminded them of their exploration to the Fire Wyrm Dungeon!
Using that same strategy, Noah employed the Blood Servants as living blood shields, regenerating constantly through his mana, which was being resupplied by Jon through his absorption of it from the monsters and by drinking the hundreds of mana potions they got in their previous dungeon exploration, he let the blood servants regenerate constantly while distracting the Eels from ganging on them instead!
The party quickly flew towards the Poison Eel that was struggling the most, targeting it as they all smiled rather wickedly!
"Nothing personal!" laughed Iris, as she unleashed several slashes with her long nails covered with phantasmal fire, the phantasmal fire reached the beast, burning through its poison coating and scales, while Adamantine employed her gigantic gauntlet Soul Weapon, unleashing slashing attacks with her Shadow Soul-Beast Transformation Skill coating her entire body.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Afterward, Clementina began to fire giant icebergs at the beast, each iceberg leaving a part of the Poison Eel frozen, giving it a difficult time moving around. Although the ice quickly melted away, it was a good temporary debuff to their speed, coupled with Iris Cursed Tattoos which made those that wielded it become lethargic!
After that came the three robots, Sakura, Sugar, and Noire, who combined their ice, blacklight, and shadows as a long-ranged attack, generating large icicle spears, blades of black light, and bullets of shadows!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Jon conjured his curses all over the Eel, weakening it while warping its perception of its surroundings through mild gravity manipulation.
And Arthur and Timassa worked together, conjuring black thunderbolts and rays of black light against it!
Lastly, Noah's Excalibur began to rotate around while slicing through the scales of the Poison Eel and unleashing rays of corrupted holy light everywhere!
Slash! Slash! Slash! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Noah smiled maliciously as everyone ganged over the strong creature, making it groan weakly as it did everything it could to defend, leaving it in a weakened and submissive position!
"Begone!" laughed Noah, activating the Fiendish Gates of Horrors Spell continuously over the Poison Eel, as space and time twisted and gates to the Outer Plane began to emerge, causing utmost horror to the Poison Eel, even more, when it saw large black tentacles coming from the gates, entangling the beast's jaws and hitting it as if the tentacles were whips!
"GGRRYYAAAAARRRR…!"
The Poison Eel was overwhelmed by the horrors of the Outer Plane, as its flesh began to fall into pieces by the powerful tentacles coming from them, and Noah used this opportunity to repeatedly fire Rays of the Unknown as well, whose strength intensified the more horror a target underwent!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
With three rays, the entire Eel's head bombed into pieces, as Noah rushed towards the still-falling corpse and while smiling wickedly, pierced the flesh with his hands!
"Bloodline Devour! Bloodline Assimilation!"
With two magic words, the abilities within the Bloodline Skill activated, as the entirety of the blood of the Eel was drained and drank by Noah in an instant!
Noah assimilated the power of the Poisonous Eel Bloodline, gaining a new power.

[Poisonous Scales: Reduces physical damage received by 5%, while also giving great resistance to acidic fluids that could otherwise melt skin and flesh]
Noah had finally assimilated his first bloodline, and with that, he learned about Bloodline Traits!
Bloodline Traits seemed to be small passive abilities granted to him, which were separated from Skills or Spells.
Aside from these effects, Poisonous Scales let Noah form small, purple-colored scales over his skin, although it didn't seem that useful, the passive effect it brought was good.

With the dry corpse of the eel falling over the poison lake, Noah found himself surrounded by Poisonous Fish!
