As Noah became fascinated with William's power to summon mechanical parts and construct a giant mech to aid him in battle, William's heart was filled with the resolve to defeat Noah, who heads realized was a monster by the scent and pressure he released, and due to his strange ability to change appearance, which most likely related to being a half-subhuman of sorts.
Although he had no other thing to prove it, he didn't want to obey Noah anyways, and if he could defeat him in a battle, maybe he could force him to help him.
After all, he believed both were S-Rank, so he still thought he had a chance if he fought with everything he had… but he was just being foolish.
He still believed he was S-Rank even after cleaning an SS-Rank Dungeon because it was not common for anyone to become SS-Rank after clearing an S-Rank Dungeon, many hunters had done this in large parties, and none had become SS-Rank in a single sitting.

Noah who had boldly jumped towards him and flashed like a crimson meteor towards William was greeted by a blue-colored gamma blade, unleashing a powerful slash using its Aether Stone!
The slash was directed not to Noah's body, but his legs!
"I will slice your legs first!" laughed William, as Noah smiled arrogantly and maliciously, his eyes flashing with crimson-red light, as his body was suddenly enhanced by a mysterious power surging from his soul and blood core!

William had truly expected that his Gamma Blade would have gone through Noah's legs like a warm knife through butter! But…

Suddenly, a strange clank sound resonated through William's ears, as his eyes glanced at something he couldn't believe he was seeing!

In front of his very eyes, Noah's hands had suddenly become claws! Crimson claws, each finger had become a one-meter-long claw, they seemed metallic in appearance, and released a strange crimson-red aura that twisted… space itself around it! It was a truly terrifying sight not only because of this strange power… but because William was seeing Noah use such claws to suddenly stop the Gama Blade!
"Impossible… My Gamma Blade can cut through anything!" roared William, as his mech suddenly opened cockpits where propulsors began to release blue flames, enhancing his speed and locomotion as he raised the mech's arms and unleashed a series of slashing attacks!

However, Noah was calmly looking at him with a smile, as his crimson claws caught each slashing attack swiftly and with enormous precision, one by one, easily!
The worst part was that Noah was simply standing there while doing absolutely nothing else than blocking the attacks! But in reality, he was using the Space-Tearing Crimson Claws ability, alongside the Lifeblood Exceed Arts to build up combos and enhance his physical strength by blocking attacks!
The Gamma Blade was simply not rushing through his claws because… Noah was simply too strong! The power of Undeath Eternal Body and Elemental Ward enhanced his body to immense levels, while his Stats, which were over two times those of William were also being taken into consideration!
The Gamma Blade that could slice through everything was now being easily blocked by Noah's Claws!
And one must not forget Space-Tearing Crimson's Claws amazing effect!

Suddenly, an enormous beam came out of his claw, like a ray of crimson-red light, it hit over the giant mech of William, pushing him into the air as it began to fragment into pieces!
