Furthermore, Reoserin City was densely packed and he would be attacked if he just flew over their city. On the other hand, the territory of the Vogrum Kingdom near the mountain range was only a border and it wasn't within a city.
The nearest city was still tens of kilometers away from the border but even that city wasn't the capital city.
Alister wanted to meet the Dwarf King so that he could "ask" the Dwarf King a "favor". It would waste his time if he stayed in the city near the border as it was only set up to act as a buffer against the elf race.
There weren't any grand blacksmiths in the city near the border so Alister didn't have any interest in visiting that city.

A hundred meters away from the entrance of Goghdor City, Alister deactivated the invisible and presence concealment enchantments and descended on the barren ground.
Although there were barely any plants and trees surrounding Goghdor City and it almost seemed like a barren wasteland, Alister knew that was due to the rare ores and minerals underneath the land.
