Chapter 13. 2 - Luckily
When Su Yan arrived at the security room, many people had already gathered there and were making trouble. The one who made the most noise was Xie Yu's mother, Shen Rong, followed by Xie Yu's two aunts, who were standing in front of the closed door.
There were two tough-looking security guards, and they were trying to make them silent, saying, "Please don't make trouble. This is a hospital, so we must keep quiet and maintain law and order. We really can't open the door for you."
They could not lose their jobs.
"You... our Xie family has never been easy to provoke, if you don't open the door immediately, I will clean up both of you with that little bastard inside." Shen Rong screamed, pointing at the door.
"Who do you call a bastard?" Su Yan's voice was cold and mixed with anger.
The originally chaotic security room fell silent in an instant, and everyone turned their heads to look at her.
Shen Rong became more and more furious, and she rushed to Su Yan in a few strides, raised her hand, and slapped her, yelling: "You bastard! How dare you come!"
This happened so quickly, and Su Yan didn’t have time to hide, so she got the slap. As her left ear began to buzz and pain spread across her face, she heard her brother shouting, "Sister!"

Su Zhan was huddled in the security room right now; he wasn't frightened to leave, but he couldn't since Xie's family had blocked the entrance. If he left, turmoil would follow, and more importantly, he didn't want to become involved with Xie Yu because of Xie Yu's unprofessional behaviour.
He was a college student who had always received a top-notch education. He was absolutely not a shrew's opponent. He so eagerly awaited Brother Bai's arrival to fetch him. But he never expected that his sister would come first.
When he heard his sister’s voice, he immediately opened the door of the security room and saw that Xie Yu’s mother was slapping Su Yan. So he stormed out, first pushing Shen Rong and then slapping her across the face, yelling, "Who the hell told you to touch my sister?!!"
Su Zhan's strength dwarfed that of the middle-aged woman, Shen Rong. Shen Rong was knocked to the ground, while Su Yan's face was simply bruised from the beating. She stumbled to the ground.
Seeing that, Xie family members who were present, surrounded the two siblings and started to attack them.
Su Zhan opened his arms as quickly as possible, placing his sister behind him with all of his vigilance like an eagle in an eagle-chicken game.
Su Yan looked at her her younger brother's tall and straight back with tearful eyes
and she felt that she was very incompetent as an elder sister - the Xie family would definitely not let Xiao Zhan go easily..
She had no choice but to reach for her phone in a moment of need and hastily text Bai Xingfan, "Help."
Suddenly a woman came running toward them and started to hit Su Zhan: "You little bastard, dares to fight with anyone? Are our sisters vegetarian?" This was one of Xie Yu's aunts, Shen Ping.
While helping Xie Yu's mother, Shen Li, Xie Yu's second aunt, spoke up: "Today, I must peel off the skin of you and your sister, you little bitch!"
When Su Yan noticed that her younger brother was being beaten, she screamed in shock, jumped out from under his open arms without pausing, and then opened her arms to block him while yelling at Shen Ping, "You do it again! I'll fight you hard if you hit him even once!"
"You little vixen, you still want to argue with me?" snorted Xie Yu’s aunt cruelly. "Your clothing must be removed today by my mom!" How flirty are you? Let's find out! She was about to remove your clothes, as she said.
Su Yan panicked and immediately covered her chest with her hands.
After the second aunt Shen Li helped Shen Rong to the blue rest chair, she also rushed over angrily, reached out, and grabbed Su Yan's arm, then began to pull her sleeve.
Su Zhan, seeing this, angrily shoved the two of them away, swiftly embraced his sister in his arms, spun around to shield her against the wall with his body, and used his back to resist the assault from Xie Yu's two aunts.
But these two middle-aged women weren't going to stop there. One viciously kicked and pounded Su Zhan in the back, and the other grabbed Su Yan’s clothes and tore them off.
The siblings had no choice but to be beaten passively.

Su Yan felt her younger brother's body shivering uncontrollably after receiving a severe punch to the back. She also heard the muffled sound of the beating: "Xiao Zhan, leave me alone, you go!" she said, sobbing.
Su Zhan muttered, "I'm alright," while firmly holding his sister in his arms and remaining unmoved.
