32 Aftermath

The Marineford War shook the world. The War was broadcast worldwide except to Mari Joie, the heavenly dragons believing themselves to be superior to this war waged by people inferior to them. The world population followed this event, like the king of pirates, Gold Roger, who started the golden age of piracy.

The Coco News delivered the newspaper recounting this event on all seven seas. But the people do not believe what the World Government is saying in the newspaper for a simple reason. The reason is that unbeknownst to the World Government, the war was broadcast all over the world by Seth. The world saw this war, and reading the newspaper the next day, saw that what GM wrote did not match what he knew actually produced at Marineford. On the other hand, another newspaper was delivered by News Coco. This journal is the journal of Morgan [Big News], one of the underworld emperors and owner of World Economy News Paper. So far, this diary tells exactly the events of the war.

But the newspaper does more than recount the events of the war. The newspaper also recounts various events that the World Government has hidden, such as the destruction of Ohara, the God Valley incident, the disappearance of Big Mom and Kaido. Morgan also reveals how the World Government makes people who stand up against it disappear by discrediting them and accusing them of committing crimes they never did.

When GM learns what Morgan posted, the elders decide to shut him up even if it might break the Underworld system. But they could not find him even after sending the CP-0 after him as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth. As a result, they decided to limit the damage he caused them by releasing a new newspaper that contradicted Morgan's news and called him revolutionary for trying to destabilize public order. The GM may have released a new newspaper with some more information in Morgan's diary, the damage was already done, and GM's credibility diminished in the eyes of citizens with a seed of doubt that they are. Defenders of peace.

The marines themselves are burying their dead and treating the wounded. With Garp and Sengoku retiring, the Navy's power plummeted. Also, Admiral Sakazuki has been missing since the end of the War. Some believe he is dead, others that he abandoned the Marines to hunt down Whitebeard and Seth, and others that he died while chasing them. The election of the new chief admiral of the navy was won by Admiral Kuzan, who was recommended by Sengoku, and Admiral Kizaru refused to apply.

As for the Whitebeard Pirates, they came under the command of Marco du Phénix. Whitebeard has retired and spends his days quietly on his native island, Sphinx. GM tried to send the Navy to kill him, but Kuzan refused, saying the Navy had to reform. So the elders sent several agents of Cipher Pol, but none of them ever returned. The Whitebeard Pirates, even without Whitebeard, managed to maintain their control over their territory thanks to Seth.

With Kaido and his crew's death, his territory was absorbed by Seth, who made him the most powerful of the Emperors. The new Big Mom crew is in the hands of Katakuri, her eldest son, after his death. Some of his children are dead while the others help Katakuri lead the crew. Of course, they are under Seth's control, but obviously, the Navy and GM don't know that.

Shanks hasn't budged lately and continues to party every day. Dragon continues his plans to destroy GM.

Garp and Sengoku have gone to an island to enjoy their old age until the days when the Navy needs them most.

Scar, Salomon, Samus, and Zeref continue the mission given to them by Seth, stabilizing East Blue, North Blue, South Blue, and West Blue. Shaka and Death oversee Big Mom and Sauron's pirates, and Satele rules the former Kaido territories that Seth has just absorbed.

There are not just two real Emperors in the New World. Several pirates wanted and tried to become an Emperor, but everyone knows how to be beaten by Seth, Shanks, Marco, or Katakuri. These last two are not strong enough to be true Emperors but strong enough to maintain order.
