C2 – Killing Zombies & Leveling Up Crazily
“System, does your ability allow me to pick up the attributes dropped by zombies in order to enhance myself?”
Loong Chen asked in his heart.
“To be precise, it’s not limited to zombies alone. Any creature or object has the potential to drop attributes, and you can collect all of them.”
Excitement surged through Loong Chen upon hearing the system’s response.
In other words, he didn’t have to endure rigorous training like others. All he had to do was gather the attributes to grow stronger. This was incredibly amazing!
“There must be a substantial number of zombies congregated in this Death City.”
Loong Chen suddenly conceived a daring idea. Since he possessed the system, why not utilize it to bolster his strength?
With increased power, he could lead an even more extraordinary life in this post-apocalyptic world.
Thinking of this, Loong Chen stood up resolutely.
He found himself in an alley. As he stepped out of the alley, he noticed a pack of zombies aimlessly wandering back and forth on the street.
There were approximately thirty zombies in that area.
As he gazed at the fierce zombies in front of him and the fallen light orb beside them, Loong Chen felt as if he could see countless attributes beckoning him.
“There’s delicious human flesh here! Come and feast!”
Loong Chen bellowed at the group of zombies. Upon hearing the noise, all the zombies turned their attention towards him.
Their lifeless eyes turned wild as they caught the scent of a living human. They all sprinted towards Loong Chen.
Instead of fleeing, Loong Chen boldly approached the pack of zombies. When he was merely five meters away from them, he let out a resounding shout and began swiftly dispatching them.
“Picking up done! Obtained strength attribute*10.”
“Picking up done! Obtained strength attribute*10.”
“Picking up done! Obtained speed attribute*8.”
“Picking up done! Obtained defense attribute*12.”
The emotionless mechanical voice continued to echo in Loong Chen’s mind, yet he didn’t find it annoying. Instead, he found the voice as pleasing as the sound of nature.
The virtual screen before him displayed a constant increase in all his attributes.
Over thirty zombies quickly approached Loong Chen, but he remained fearless. He grabbed a brick and hurled it at them.
Moreover, he fiercely smashed their heads with the brick.
Having acquired numerous attributes, his strength, speed, reaction, and defense had all multiplied several times. Despite being surrounded by over thirty zombies, he didn’t find himself at a disadvantage.
Ten minutes later, he successfully eliminated all thirty zombies, each one meeting a gruesome fate as their heads exploded.
Although Loong Chen was catching his breath heavily, he felt immense joy. All his attributes were now visibly displayed on his attributes panel.
