Chapter 103: She was offended

Tang Yichen caressed her head and said "I'm not going anywhere. Where are your car keys?"

"Inside the car..."

"Alright," he looked at the driver who understood what he meant. As the driver crossed the road to bring the luggage, Mo Jia was still clinging to Tang Yichen like a cute baby panda.

As he glanced at the woman in his arms, she looked so adorable that his heart felt as if it has been scratched by a cat. He was itching to inch closer to this cute little creature. This side of hers was something new to him.

His royal blue armani suit was stained with blood but he was not a bit disgusted. Instead he hugged her tightly, making sure to avoid her injuries.

"Shall we go to the hospital?" he asked softly.

She shook her head "No. Take me to your place."

He could only give in to her demands. As the driver returned, he saw the two of them hugging each other tightly.

He still couldn't believe his eyes. His Young Master was always cold to everyone, not only women but also men. Except for the Young Miss, he will never care for anyone else.

But now that he stole some glances by looking at the rearview mirror, he couldn't help but wonder 'Golden times are coming. Young Miss got married suddenly and Young Master has a secret lover. I must tell this to Old Master. Hehehe...'

As Tang Yichen raised his head, he caught a glimpse of the evil smirk on the driver's face. His face twisted as he coldly said "Don't inform my grandfather about her. If he knows about this, you don't have to bother to work for me anymore."

Since his little princess has asked him not to reveal Mo Jia's identity to their grandfather, he will do so. Or else the old man will never get rid of his 'rich and poor' mentality.

The driver shivered involuntarily as he thought 'N...No need..I shouldn't tell this to Old Master. I w..want my job so much.'

Mo Jia was alerted by his words 'don't inform about her'. Indeed they are not in a relationship. He is not obliged to care of her. Why is she clinging to him them? It's only her wishful thinking that there is something going on between them, right?

Within an instant her face turned cold and her grip around his waist loosened. She sat straight as she pushed his hand away and calmly said to the driver "Drive to the four seasons hotel. I have booked a room there."

Indeed, she has already booked a room there before her accident. But when she saw Tang Yichen, her feelings were complicated. She wanted to tell him about her pain and she wanted to cry in his arms. All of a sudden, she did not want to be alone.

Now that she thought about it, his words have somehow hurt her. Yes, she was offended. She showed her real emotions to a man who didn't have any sort of relationship with her.

Tang Yichen was stunned. What happened to her?

As for the driver, he waited for his Young Master's instructions.

"Drive to my place," Tang Yichen said resolutely as he held her hand tightly.

Mo Jia was infuriated. She tried to free her hand from his grip but she couldn't. Her eyes glistened with tears as she said "Why would you take me to your place? What relation do we have? You don't want anyone to mention about me to your grandfather. And it is not wrong though. So, why must I listen to you?"

The driver surely had a higher EQ than his Young Master. He immediately understood where the problem lied. The beautiful lady was offended because of Young Master's words. He quickly raised the partition to give some space to the couple.

On the other hand, Tang Yichen could see three question marks above his head as he thought 'What did I do? Did I offend her? B...But I made sure to talk to her softly. Wasn't I gentle enough? Was I too arrogant or cold? Wait...mention to grandfather? Is she offended by that?'

As soon as the light flickered in his brain, he lowered his head and whispered in her ear "Your sister-in-law has ordered me not to inform about your background to grandfather. There is some reason behind it."

It was ticklish when his hot breathe caressed her ear whereas his seductive voice gave off an unique sensation which she has never felt before.

"R..Really?" she stuttered meekly. The mention of Tang Li somehow calmed her down.

He hugged her tightly and said "Yes."

Mo Jia didn't think much about it. She had no idea about his background. She was completely unaware of the fact that Tang Yichen and Tang Li are the grandchildren of the legendary business prodigy Tang Cheng. Infact, only Mo Zihan, Mo Yuhan and a very few people were aware of this.

...

"Yuhan, are you alright?" Tang Li asked as she smoothened the crease between his eyebrows.

Mo Yuhan was holding his laptop but he was somewhat slow in whatever he was doing. His fingers were lingering above the keyboard for a little longer than usual. He would frown occasionally.

Actually, it was not that obviously. Noone else would have noticed this little things on his usual expressionless face. But, she could tell...She could sense that something was wrong with him today.

"Zihan and Jia fought with...grandma," he uttered softly.

"But why?" Tang Li thought of their scrunched up faces when she mentioned their grandmother today.
