Chapter 235: Big brother Yuhan is charming

Tang Li took the opportunity and wrapped her arms around his waist as she rested her head on his broad back, it still gave her a sense of security.

He did not resist her touch making Tang Li feel a bit confident. She thought he would ignore her like some virus after he walked out of the room yesterday, he never got angry at her like that.

"I am sorry...I did not mean it that way," Tang Li softly said but Mo Yuhan did not reply, making her feel panicked.

Tang Li never knew she could ever lose her calm like this, most of the time she was indifferent about things around her but this man surely knew how to bring out her feelings to her face.

"Oh?" Mo Yuhan softly replied.

Tang Li could not trace anything from his voice except for indifference.

Although it pained her heart but she tightened her grip around his waist, "You...It's true. I did not mean it like that. It was just..you have behaved so coldly and after that, you suddenly picked me up... I don't know…The dark.. room...Maybe, it triggered something in my head. But I did not mean to say that to you. I've never been scared of you, not even when we were in high school. You were so cold to me at first yet I kept following you and even called you Big brother Yuhan," she murmured softly.

Mo Yuhan removed her hand from his waist before leaving the study room without looking back.

He did not even look back at her in case she noticed the smile that crept up his face at the mention of how she used to address him as 'Big brother Yuhan'.

Tang Li's face fell as she leaned back on the desk. Was he that angry? To the point that he did not even want to see her face?

But her drooped face once again lit up when she saw him walking back inside the study room with… a pair of shoes in his hand?

"Did you not leave because you were angry?" Tang Li raised both her eyebrows, as she glanced at him with an expectant look.

Mo Yuhan pursed his lips as he glanced at her but he refused to answer her question.

He wrapped an arm around her waist before effortlessly picking her off the ground.

He then helped her to sit on the desk before kneeling on one knee.

He placed her feet in his palms, they felt cold to touch, to the point that he could say that she must have been feeling numb. He rubbed her feet, making sure they are warm.

Tang Li smiled, "So, you do care for me? And here I thought that you don't," Warmth filled inside her chest.

It felt good to have someone care for you. Even when they were fighting, she was his first priority.

Mo Yuhan's ears turned red but he simply lowered his head making sure not to look her, "I…"

"You're not going to deny it, are you?"

Mo Yuhan simply stayed silent neither agreeing nor denying. He put both the shoes on her feet before standing up. But before he could go anywhere, Tang Li wrapped her legs around his waist, locking the man in place.

"Did you leave the study just to bring my shoes?" she asked as she looked at him seriously.

Mo Yuhan glanced at her, she looked so serious as if her life depended on it and it compelled him to nod his head.

"Was it because you did not want me to catch a cold?"

Mo Yuhan nodded his head yet again.

'Then, I must say this. Mr. Mo, my thighs are cold, can you warm them up for me?" She shamelessly wrapped her arms around his neck.

Mo Yuhan was speechless, he instinctively glanced at her legs. She was wearing a pair of shorts that revealed her milky white thighs.

He quickly averted his gaze.

"You're ignoring me?" Tang Li realized it when he did not say anything, "I regret it…" she softly whispered.

"I regret acting that way with you. Your friends used to say that you are a devil when we were in junior high school, but I never feared you as you've always been good to me. At that time, I knew that my Big brother Yuhan would never hurt me," she softly murmured, her lips trembled slightly making her small face quite pitiful, "Yesterday, I did not know what came over me...I truly did not mean to…"

Mo Yuhan hugged her before she could continue her sentence, "It was not your fault for what happened yesterday. I was too impulsive," he said. It was a rare occasion for him to show his cold side to her, but he later realized that he might have scared her.

"No..I.."

"I was angry at first.." Mo Yuhan interrupted her. He indeed felt indignant when she asked him to not force himself on her, "But later on, I realized, maybe it was somewhere my fault too."

"Then, why did you sleep in the study?"

"I had lots of pending work and I did not want to disturb your sleep," Mo Yuhan replied to which Tang Li immediately turned her head to the side, only to find his laptop and files kept at the side. She felt to notice it before as her entire focus was on him.

"Then, why were you not talking to me when I was trying to coax you so hard?"

Mo Yuhan pursed his lips. He did not want to admit that he liked the way she was trying to coax him.

"Which of the friends of mine called me a devil in front of you?" Mo Yuhan slightly narrowed his eyes as he swiftly changed the topic.

Tang Li raised an eyebrow, "It was Brother Jingze and as for the other one, I don't remember his name. They even told me to stay away from you or else you would eat me up."

The woman did not know what were her casual words going to do to the man. Neither did she feel guilty for selling him out.

Priorities comes first, you see?

Her priority was none other than her beloved husband.

Mo Yuhan narrowed his eyes even further. Seems like Qin Jingze is not working efficiently these days. As the COO, he needs more workload.

A certain COO who was checking the documents in Mo Empires sneezed all of a sudden.

He did not know that his best friend who happens to be his President has already sealed his fate by deciding to triple his workload.

"Then, what did think about me after that?" he asked.

"Big brother Yuhan is so charming," she said abruptly before continuing, "I mean...It was my thought at that time."

Mo Yuhan kissed her forehead, "Mm…Don't say that again."

"What? That you're charming?" Chibi Tang Li asked, puzzled by his words.

"No, don't call him Brother Jingze."

Tang Li looked at him with glowing eyes, "How about only Jingze?"

"No... Qin Jingze is good."

"Mo Yuhan, are you jealous?"

The man averted his gaze, "Who said that?" he softly asked.

She never realized the Crown Prince of Mo Family was such a petty man.

But before she could speak any further, he spoke up once again, "Let's go and get ready, it's so late already. Moreover, we are expecting someone."

And that successfully diverted Tang Li's attention, "Guests?"

Mo Yuhan shook his head, "You'll know that later," he said before carrying her in his arms as he walked out of the room.
