Chapter 348: You don't deserve to know me

"What do you know? Flash marriage was trendy so they got married without letting me know. What if they decided to have a flash child? I want to be there with my granddaughter in her difficult times and be the first person to carry my grandchildren. So, you must look into it," The old man snorted.

Assistant Rin was stunned. He forgot how much this person doted on little Young Miss. But then again, what is a flash child?

"Sir, it seems like Young Master has moved to a small villa in the north plum yard," After going through the data again and again Assistant Rin finally informed the man after a few minutes.

"Plum Yard? Why would he live in that kind of place?" Although that place was luxurious, but it was simply not something a man like Tang Yichen would prefer. That place is pretty expensive but for people like them, it doesn't match up to their standards.

His grandson seems to be pretty serious about this actress. So much so that he would even change his preferences for her.

Tang Li had once mentioned that woman to him but the old didn't pay much attention to him, thinking that it would be a fling. But who would have thought that the situation would come this?

"Drive," He coldly ordered as he stroked his beard, the gears in his mind running at full speed.

"When are you coming back?" Mo Jia stirred the soup with one hand as she looked at her phone.

"I have a lot of work left here," Tang Yichen's cool voice rang in the kitchen through the phone.

Mo Jia's phone was currently leaning on a utensil for support as the couple face-timed each other. She intently observed the man who was busy reading some files. Maybe it was his seriousness towards his work…. He looked all more handsome.

"Oh," Mo Jia calmly said but there was a tinge of disappointment in her voice and he caught onto it.

"What are you doing in the kitchen?" He asked as soon as he raised his head. In fact, when he called her earlier, she was doing some work in the study and it has been more than thirty minutes since they were talking.

"I was cooking for you," Mo Jia replied.

"Do you know how to cook?" He asked as his gaze turned gentle. Cooking for you… Cooking for you… Cooking for you… What a blissful thing to hear.

Mo Jia picked up the phone from the counter and smiled, "Not as good as you but I can cook. But I'll have to have my dinner alone since you seem so busy today," While talking to him, she added salt in the chicken soup.

"I.."

'Crash.'

"What happened?" His worried voice sounded over the phone.

"Nothing…I just dropped the salt jar," Just as she was about to pick it up, she noticed something, "Yichen, I added sugar in the soup."

Tang Yichen sighed helplessly, "Mrs. Tang, you should not do things you are not fond of," Still there was a doting smile on his face.

"This won't do. I will do it all over again. I'll talk to you later. Go do your work," She hung up.

Tang Yichen chuckled as he leaned back on his seat. This silly woman… Did she think he would be in the mood to work after talking to her? He couldn't wait to go to the home and pounce on her.

"_" Don't behave like a frivolous emperor!

Mo Jia looked at the mess she created before looking back at the boiling soup. How could she mistake sugar for salt?

She turned off the gas after deciding to try it once again.

The doorbell rang right at that moment.

Mo Jia paused. She looked at the mess in the kitchen before removing her apron. As she opened the door, she a man in his 40s standing there silently. His thick-rimmed glasses kept falling on his nose and his fingers adjusted. The man looked at her from head to toe.

"Yes?" Mo Jia looked at him.

"Cough… Miss, is this Mr. Tang's house?" Assistant Rin did not mention the full name since it would be bothersome if things reached to media. Furthermore, if his investigation was true and their Young Master really lived here, then the woman would not hide it.

Mr. Tang? Since they were here for him… "Yes, let me give him a call…"

"No need," Mo Jia gazed in the direction of voice only to find a man standing at the side with his back facing towards her, right beside the door. The man was dressed in a tuxedo and looking at his white hair, he seemed to be elderly but the authoritativeness in his voice was unmistakable.

Mo Jia pursed her lips. Since her entire focus was on the man standing in front of the door, she failed to notice another presence.

"So, you are indeed living together, huh?" The old man's voice rang again.

Mo Jia blinked. The disdain in his voice reminded her of her grandmother. She would always this kind of tone to talk with her sister-in-law.

"Yes… But may I know who you are, Sir?" Mo Jia couldn't help but ask. Why did Tang Yichen not inform her about their guest?

Since this person can pass through the security, that means he is no ordinary person. Moreover, he was talking with such a familiar tone as if he knew everything about her but she did not remember meeting someone like him. Even though she couldn't see his face but she was sure she would not forget so easily about the person who has such a strong presence.

"You don't deserve to know me," Grandpa Tang scoffed without looking back. The woman's voice was pleasantly calm, neither servile nor overbearing but that was not enough to change his mind. He took out something from his pocket before passing it to Assistant Rin.

In fact, he did not feel like turning around to look at the woman's face. In the end, she must be another fake person that the entertainment industry reared.

Assistant Rin was stunned as he looked at the thing.

A/N: What do you think the thing is that left the assistant shocked?
