Chapter 402: Stockholm Syndrome Streak

"It has been more than 2 hours since we are here. Doesn't that means the bomb is activated?" Tang Li looked at both of them.

Mo Yuhan frowned, "Let's go, I'll check it first."

Huangfu Lin felt a prickling sensation around her wrist as a sweat droplet appeared on her forehead, "I'll go to washroom first."

The couple turned around to look at her, "Are you fine?" Mo Yuhan asked.

''I don't feel well from the moment this jade bangle has settled itself on my wrist…" But no matter how she tried, she could not remove it at all, "I'll freshen up first."

Tang Li glanced at her, "Be careful be at the deck after you're done."

While Mo Yuhan inspected the bombs interlinked with each, Tang Li stood on the side, lost in her thoughts. 

Since this was not done by the Kingsman Faction as her newfound uncle clearly denied that then who could possibly do this? In fact, the whole bed was covered with bombs, big and small, all interlinked with each other. If nobody had noticed it, perhaps no one would have survived on the yacht.

It was good that everyone was sent back and the yacht was empty or else the situation might have turned chaotic.

"Lili…"

"Mm?" She snapped out of her daze as Mo Yuhan stood up, "How is it?" She asked.

"It's a special kind of bomb. There will blast if I try to diffuse them now,'' Mo Yuhan said, looking at her.

Tang Li sighed, "Special or not, I was not going to let you diffuse it anyway," There were at least hundreds of bombs, she'd rather die than let him risk his life in front of her. 

Even at a time like this, she still had something like this going on in her mind. He chuckled.

"Don't laugh. You've been going against me lately. If you do that again, I'd break up with you," She scoffed.

"We're married," He stated.

She paused, "Then, divorce….mmmph!''

Mo Yuhan pressed his lips onto her, biting and fondling her bottom lips between his, "You wish. Just make do with me for the rest of your life," he whispered.

She looked at him in a daze.

"You asked my hand for this marriage, you have to take responsibility, Li," He said, looking at her innocently, those azure eyes seemed to be sparkling.

"Are you taunting me?" No wonder this must be the reason why men propose women for marriage. Going against the norms and taking the initiative comes with a price…Like being teased by your husband for whole life.

He laughed, looking at her aggrieved face, "Well, if you hadn't taken the initiative, then I would have abducted you."

She raised an eyebrow, "Why abduct?" Couldn't he simply propose for marriage?

''I wasn't sure whether you agree to marry a stranger you just met. You might even take me for a creep or crazy man who can't get his mind off you."

'A handsome creep,' She thought in her mind. "So, then? What comes after the abduction?"

He wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his chin on her shoulder, "Well…I would have locked you up in the Grace Villa in case you tried to run away from me.''

"Hah~ Couldn't I run away after you go to the company?"

"No. I would've dropped all my work and stayed at home to look at you, spend time with you, get to know you more."

"Who would've thought you had this Stockholm syndrome streak in you?" She whispered, her lips caressing his cheek, "I didn't know I had to play hard to get to have you drop your work and stay beside me all time. Alas, you even went to work on the first day after our marriage. Was it because you knew your bride is not running anywhere, Mr. Mo?"

''Ah.."

He turned her around and pulled her closer by her waist pressing her body against his body. "If you had not accepted me and I had forcefully abducted you, then I would have been worried that you will eventually disappear from my life someday, causing me to drop my work to stay beside you to know your more," His face looked blank as he thought back to how she disappeared from his life years ago. 

He looked at the woman in his arms, reminding himself that she was here with him, "But since I knew my bride is equally interested in me and is not running anywhere, I was sure I had a lifetime to get to know you. It didn't have to be one day or a few days." 

She blinked, unable to utter a single word. Usually, she would have a lot to say to him but whenever he talked like this, she knew she was going to be on the losing end.

She bit his neck, "Alright, it's all a hypothesis. I wouldn't have run away from you if you abducted me. I would have tied you up and admired your beauty for my whole life. I am much more possessive." She laughed. 

He placed a kiss on her forehead.

'Beep Beep' The timer on the bombs beeped, getting the couple's attention in an instant.

The indicating time was twenty minutes. That was to say these bombs will blast right after that. 

"I'll call someone…" Before Tang Li could take out her phone from the pocket, he held her hand. She glanced at him questioningly.

"It's of no use," said Mo Yuhan, "The moment these bombs were activated, the network coverage in this yacht was blocked completely. Unless they blast…"

"There is no way out of this…This is what you mean to say," Her expression fell a bit.

He stroked her cheek and shook his head, "Let's go to the deck first. We…"

"No," Tang Li wrapped her arms around his neck, ''You don't need to say anything to console me. I know we're dying here." These bombs will blast if they tried to diffuse them. The rescue boats were all used up to send back the people.

And they can't contact anyone because of the network blockage, what could they possibly do in this situation? 

She pursed her lips and buried her face in the crook of his neck. "Darling, I had imagined a lifetime to you. How could we be left with just twenty minutes?" She asked softly.
