It was already the next day after Adam woke up from his slumber and his visit to the Library of Akasha.
Even though months went by inside the Nexus, only a few hours passed by in the real world. But this changed nothing about his inevitable destiny.
Adam died once again due to the effect of the time dilation coming back at him in full force. Eve had made it clear and he already experienced it last time.
Even though only a few hours went by in the real world, when he comes back, his body would act as if he went through the whole four months. This mean No food and no water for that amount of time.
Obviously, like last time, the only possible results was Death.
The good thing, as sad as it may be, was that dying from 3 weeks of famine or four months of famine was the same regardless. So the pain did not particularly increase or decrease this time around.
He just hated the feeling of feeling like there was absolutely nothing in his stomach, not even the juices that constituted that place. It was painful, scary, sickening, and honestly traumatizing. It was a feeling that could simply not be described with mere words.
Thankfully, he was able to push back those feelings behind as he went to take a bath and finally slept for the rest of the night.
This was a necessary sleep and recuperation time for him as he was mentally and physically drained after all the studying he had to do back in the Library.
Once the morning came up, Cecilia excitedly pushed him around by asking him to follow her to the airport to receive her friend.
She even rented a large car for this occasion and now was waiting with him outside of the airport for the arrival of her old friend during her days as a hunter.
He initially insisted that she wait in the car, but she wouldn't accept his proposal no matter what so he had to relent.

His status panel had changed drastically compared to what it once was when he first opened the book of genesis to look at his parameters.
It was hard to believe that all of this was the result of just one week of intense training.
'Well, I guess it isn't exactly one week, per se.'
Around five months in total in the Library and if you added the experience he gathered from Buddha's life, then it went to a few decades at the very least.
Adam was once again thankful for the help Genesis brought to him.
The skill [Fear] was the name of the new skill he had acquired due to his innate authority – Origin – reacting with his other innate authority resulting in the birth of a Unique skill. Initially, he wished to call it [Predator Aura] or something along those lines. But he had been too embarrassed to go through with it.
In the end, the only thing that bothered Adam was the scathing but sadly truthful remark he had once again received from his status board.
He knew that he should be able to do so much more with his powers. But it wasn't a problem. At least, he had the foundation and his control of Gravity was slowly increasing and enhancing with his rigorous training.
"Say mom, do you think training under gravity would help me accelerate my growth?"
Cecilia, who had been listening to music, looked at Adam like he was some sort of a maniac before guffawing out loud.
"Well, I can understand where you are coming from. It isn't like you are the first one to think about something like that. There were indeed artificial gravitational chambers used for training strength in the past."
She continued, "Well, from the get go, forget about the 100G or 200G stuff. While I think there are some monsters who could withstand it and I believe I could do the same using Prana, the moment I take my Prana away, I will become a sight-restricted PG-18 scene element as I paint the floor with my blood, guts, and mushed up body."
Adam grimaced at the weird image Cecilia conjured within him with her words. He was sure that he never wished to witness such a scene in his life.
"Realistically. A human can barely survive in the 2G and 3G would be enough to make them faint and even for a powerful hunter, training in 3 to 4G without Prana is the limit. So the project was deemed a failure for a while." [1]

Adam threw a deadpan look at Cecilia after her cheap attempt at a joke, "Mom…Seriously? This is the best you came up with?"
Cecilia at least had the shame to cough and look aside, "So, as I was saying."
She continued nonchalantly as if the previous episode never happened but she could not meet eyes with Adam as she still felt some amount of shame due to her previous lame attempt at a joke, "Training strength and speed was deemed to be useless. But, using 2 or 3G, it's possible for hunters to train their motor skills to a great degree. In fact, your mother, and by that I mean Mei, had to go through such training to master the Lightning Sword Art."
Adam mused. He didn't really need training in motor skills. At least he thought he didn't. It wasn't like he was moving much when using his power.
But if the plan he had in mind worked, it would be very useful.
Adam didn't have much experience fighting in the supernatural world, but he knew very well that no matter what kind of fight it was, staying put without moving was asking for a beating.
Thanks to his new control over gravity, it would be possible to move even faster and also slow down the enemy.
Even if he couldn't apply much gravity now, what if he constantly changed the gravity to bother his opponent? This would be the nightmare for any close combat fighter trying to reach him.
Adam was thinking about a variety of tactics and viable strategies when he felt Cecilia's heartbeat accelerate.
He looked up, and from afar, he could see two large men, one old and young walking towards them.
He had an inkling that these two were the one they were waiting for and his Eye of Truth confirmed this.

[1]: So a human's bone can withstand around 90G. The problem is. You can die with your bones intact. Jokes aside, anything above 2-3G and it's basically impossible to move. They did some calculations using a 1000-year-old world record of a man who walked five steps while holding 1430 pound log on his back and estimated the man would only be able to take a few steps in a 4.6G.
