After Jack went back to driving, he fully focused on driving. Since there was a lot that he needed to take care of after finishing dealing with the Guardians that came from the Panthers organization, then, if he was going to deal with it, he had decided that he was going to deal with it as soon as possible.

Celine on the other hand focused on trying the ability that Jack had talked about. The first thing that she focused on was of course the recipes that she had been dwelling on before Jack brought up the matter of becoming a superhuman.

The moment that she began reading through the recipes, she found out that she was capable of remembering them easily. She did not know if she was supposed to claim that this was due to the fact that she had already become a superhuman, or, it was due to the 100 times multiplier effect that Jack had talked about.

In any case, she was completely thrilled. Since she was capable of learning things faster than ever before, she did not hesitate to go through some of the most complex recipes that she had been previously seeing and hearing about only in televisions or the biggest hotels.

But of course, the biggest hotel present inside the country currently was the Glaze hotel that was owned by Jack. In any case, Jack was the best chef there was. With the recipes that he had released, even the restaurants were about to be closed down.

As she began reading through the recipes, Celine finally began getting an understanding of how Jack was able to possess as many skills as he currently had.

She believed that with all the knowledge that she was having, all that was left was to practice. After that, as long as she was successful in the practical, then, it would not be a difficult task for her to be called a master in terms of cooking.

Samantha on the other hand remained silent. But, her emotions had already been shaken. At this moment, she could not help but dream about the thought that, if she performed all her duties well, then, she would also be rewarded with becoming a superhuman.

Of course, becoming a superhuman was something that she had never dreamed of. Becoming a guardian of the entire organization that she previously belonged to was already a dream come true. But, now, she had seen that there was a possibility that she might become more powerful than even the leader of the organization that she previously belonged to.

Of course, she was saying previously belonged to because currently, she had already decided that she was going to join Jack, no longer going back to the organization.



As for the matter concerning the fact that all those that had entered the stronghold were not supposed to leave, Samantha did not care about that.

In fact, she felt that, by following Jack, then, that implied that, she was going to join the stronghold that he belonged to. In that way, then, there would be nobody that would say that she had abandoned her task after consuming a lot of resources.

As for Jack claiming that he was just a normal person from an ordinary background, that, she did not believe. Just from the fact that his mother was a strong person, then, Samantha believed that perhaps Jack was someone who possessed an incredible hidden background.

And, he was just saying things because he wanted to continue hiding his background from all those around him, and was planning to reveal everything in the future. Just thinking of the future, Samantha could not help but get more excited.

Of course, Jack had seen that Samantha's expression was shifting from time to time and inside her eyes, there was actually some kind of excitement.

He could guess what she was thinking about, but, he did not comment. He was someone who always repaid gratitude with gratitude. Currently, Samantha was only working for him simply because she signed a contract.

After the contract expired, then, if she decided that she was going to leave, then, Jack was not going to stop her. But, if she decided to remain, then, Jack was going to make sure that she also improved. There was no way that he was going to take someone as a protector for his fiancée, when she was considerably weaker than her.

Of course, he had already been planning to change the role that Samantha played, but, he had decided against it. At the end of the day, Samantha and Celine had already formed a bond and were considered friends.

So, as long as Celine decided that she did not care if Samantha was there or not, then, Jack would transfer her to someone else. But, she would of course have to sign another contract. Even though she showed that she was currently loyal to him, Jack was not one to trust others easily.

After a few minutes of driving, just finally arrived in the destination that he had been given the location by the puppet. With an indifferent expression on his face, he stepped out of the car and began walking towards the forest.

Celine also got out of the car and followed him as she scrolled through the recipes that she was going through. She had already mastered several of them, and she was looking forward to trying them after she went back.

Not long after they had entered the forest, Jack detected that there were some movements in front of him. He could already tell that these movements belonged to the group that was being held here. Even though a fight had not erupted before, Jack was sure that if it happened, then, his five puppets would have definitely won.

As the three of them approached, Doris and the rest looked at them in surprise. They did not expect that the person that was behind the scene of all this was actually a young man. Additionally, they had seen his image, but they dismissed it as Jonathan's twin brother.

Since Jack and Jonathan looked alike, then, they had thought that Jack was actually Jonathan's twin and Anita's son.

As for why he was living away from home, since Jack was not that far from his teenage years, then, that implied that he was in his rebellious age. So, it was not strange that he could go against his parents' plans because he wanted to leave alive full of freedom.

"Why are you here Jack?" Doris asked as she looked at Jack. Even though it was true that Jack and Jonathan looked alike, currently, they both had different hair sizes. So, it was completely possible for Doris to distinguish between the two of them considering that she had investigated about them not long ago.

"Mhm. It seems that you have done some research on me. But, it seems that you have not done enough research before you decided to do what you have decided to do now. Nonetheless, none of that matters. I have some questions that I would like you to answer." Jack looked at Doris before replying indifferently.

Doris frowned a little. She found that the situation was completely strange, and she could not understand anything. At the end of the day, she believed that the Jesda family was just a simple family. But, for them to be able to mobilize five people at the guardian level, that implied that they possessed great influence in the strongholds.

From her point of view, there was no way that there was any other organization that was away from the strongholds that was able to acquire the resources for their own advancement. These resources were tightly controlled by the bigger strongholds.

"What question is it?" Doris asked. Currently, she had already lost her interest. She did not have any fear considering that, the person in front of her was not a superhuman. So, it was going to be easy for her to take care of the matter.

"It is quite simple really. I do really wonder what might be the reason why you have been looking for Nathan, and after he disappeared, you actually came for my aunt. Do you mind telling me that?" Jack asked as he approached them.

Doris who was currently focusing her gaze on the two ladies behind Jack was completely stunned. She could never have expected that, Samantha was actually here.

So, instead of replying to Jack's question, she looked at Samantha and asked with a frosty expression on her face, "What are you doing here Samantha? Do you know that by being here, you are going completely against the protocols of the stronghold?"

Previously, just like the others, she had believed that there was a force that was in the dark, that was trying to make the two organizations fight against each other.

But now, she had already changed everything that she believed in previously. Since Samantha was here, that implied that she was actually related in the killing of Erick. And since that was the case, just considering the loss that the organization had encountered by using such a powerhouse, of course Doris resented Samantha.

"What protocols are you talking about? Moreover, you are talking as if you are inside the stronghold and I am the one that is outside. And, who told you that I am currently still a member of the Butterfly organization? I am currently working for someone else." Samantha replied indifferently.

Since she had already decided that she was going to stay by Jack's side, then, there was no need for her to continue acting like she belonged to the Butterfly organization.

The group was completely stunned when they heard that Samantha had actually left the Butterfly organization.

"Do you think that we care about that? Since you are the one that was involved in the death of Erick, then, you have to pay for it no matter which organization you are working for currently." Steve stated as he looked at Samantha.

"Well, I was the one that was talking before. Why don't you let me ask the questions first before you begin the confrontation?" Jack who was being completely ignored asked coldly.
