Chapter 432 Ability Awakening
Celine shifted her gaze as she looked at Jack and waited. Until now, she knew that Jack had never joked about something as big as becoming a superhuman. With the example of the previous one, she wanted to know how Jack would be able to make her a superhuman.
Looking at Celine's expectant gaze, Jack nodded to himself and said, "Be prepared to feel the increase in your strength. I do hope that you don't end up destroying the car because you failed to control your strength."
Before Celine could understand what Jack was trying to imply, Jack stopped the car at the roadside first. After that, he began communicating with the system.
When Celine and Samantha saw that Jack had gone silent, they also remained silent, not willing to interrupt Jack as he used his 'ability'.
'System, I would like to give Celine two levels of increase in strength.' Jack said in his mind.
[Please confirm to grant host's fiancée, Celine, two levels of strength.]
Jack took a deep breath before he accepted. 'Confirmed.' He wasn't willing to use the chance simply because, currently, he possessed five chances to improve the strength by five levels. But, there was just one thing that Jack felt that it was a pity.
That was the fact that, with the chances remaining without getting used for a long time, then, when used later on, the one that would receive them would receive better rewards from this.
But, currently, Jack had no choice. Although Celine was currently protected from mind control by the system, she did not have much strength personally. If one was not a superhuman and met with a superhuman, then they would not be able to resist.
Alicia had a protector that was at the third stage of the superhuman level. That implied that, if Alicia's previous methos of using mind control failed, then, that protector might take action. If that was the case, then, that implied that Celine would be in great danger.
Immediately after Jack confirmed, a series of system prompts appeared in front of his eyes as Angel went ahead to explain.

At the same time that the system prompts were appearing in front of Jack, Celine suddenly felt her blood boiling. Then, in the next moment, as if a dam had been broken, she suddenly felt that the strength in her body was increasing at a rapid pace.

Jack turned his attention from the system and looked at Celine as she began transforming right in front of his eyes. The beauty that was already so high suddenly increased drastically, and Jack could see that happening with his own eyes.
He was of course dumbfounded. He had never expected that he was actually going to see Celine transform just like that, by becoming a superhuman. Now, not only had she become stronger, but, she had also become beautiful than ever.
Samantha had also been watching all of this happening. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at Celine who was suddenly transforming to become a beauty that was out of the world. She had expected that what Jack had said was true, that he was able to turn Celine into a superhuman. But, it was completely different when seeing this happen with her own eyes.
Back in the stronghold, other than requiring resources to be able to become stronger, they also needed to undergo a period of bitter training to be able to consume the energy that was within the resources that they would have consumed.
Additionally, to become a superhuman, one needed a lot of resources and dedication in their training, otherwise, they would never become superhumans. But, the resources were never easy to come by as one could see how the shadow organization's Maxwell, was struggling for several decades to become a superhuman, but he had yet to become one.
But now, right in front of her, Celine who was doing nothing but sitting, had suddenly become a superhuman. As for how she knew that Celine had become a superhuman, that was because she had seen the leader of the Butterfly organization, before and after she became a superhuman.
She knew that when one became a superhuman, they would have a transformation in their appearance. That was just like how Celine had undergone a transformation.
Samantha gulped as she thought about just how terrifying Jack's ability was, to be able to instantly transform a person into a superhuman. With becoming a witness to this unbelievable scene, Samantha's resolution to stay by Jack's side increased drastically.
Although they were about to go to the strongholds, she was not willing to go back to her previous organization. With Jack, there was a promise that she would be able to get far, than depending on the Butterfly organization, as long as she worked hard and didn't betray Jack.
On the other hand, Jack smiled a little as he looked at Celine. Then, just as he was about to speak, he saw that Celine's expression shifted. And before he could ask what was wrong, something even more surprising happened.
Bang! Boom!
A tree that was just some distance from the car suddenly had its lower part of the trunk exploding into splinters. With that, the gigantic tree that was about 40m tall fell onto the ground creating a cloud of dust.
Everyone inside the car looked at the fallen tree with surprise in their eyes. Then, Jack looked at the new system prompt that had appeared in front of him, before finally understanding what was going on.
[The host's fiancée has managed to activate the ability that was locked away during the time that part of her memories were locked away.]
Jack's pupils contracted as he read the next prompt that had appeared. It was completely unexpected.
[Celine has managed to activate her acquired ability, Telekinesis.]
Jack took a deep breath before shifting his attention towards Celine and asked, "Do you know what happened?"
"Huh?" Celine was finally brought back to her senses by the question. She looked at Jack as she said uncertainly, "I...I don't even understand what happened. I...I was just looking outside to test how sharp my sight had become. When my gaze landed on the tree, I had a strange thought that, the tree trunk should be broken. And...And in the next moment, before I knew it, the tree suddenly broke and fell onto the ground."
Jack confirmed that it was Celine that had broken the tree. But, he could not help but wonder just how overpowered the ability that she possessed was. After all, even with his current strength, he was not able to easily break that giant tree.
Looking at Celine's expression, it was clear that using the ability did not have much of an impact on her.
Jack then focused on another thing. The system claimed that Celine's ability had been activated as it was locked away. It seemed that it was only due to the system's intervention that shew finally managed to activate the ability.
Then, there was another fact that, it was inactive due to the fact that it had been deactivated during the time that her memories were locked.
Jack continued to find the incidence where their memories of each other were locked, strange. He just couldn't understand it in any way other than that, there was a superpower that was involved. But, who was the holder of the superpower?
Additionally, the ability that Celine possessed was not innate. Instead, it was acquired. As from where it came from, that was something that Jack was willing to know but didn't know how to know.
"Telekinesis." Jack muttered in a low voice as he tried to remember if there was a time that he had seen Celine doing something that was completely impossible according to science. But no matter how hard he tried to remember, there was nothing that he could find.
Although Jack had spoken in a low voice, Celine was able to hear him as she was also a superhuman. She looked at him as she asked, "Telekinesis? Is that the thing that just happened?"
Jack was brought out of his thoughts by Celine's question. He went ahead and nodded his head as he explained, "Just like Alicia, you have awakened your ability."
Celine was surprised. Then, she looked at Jack with excitement in her eyes. It was just that, she was holding herself back from shouting due to the fear that all of this was just a dream.
"With this ability, I guess we will have to change the way that you will be training so that you can know how to control the ability that you have gained." Jack said with a smile.
With confirmation from Jack, Celine no longer held back. She fell into Jack's embrace as she could not find any better method that she could use to show her gratitude and excitement to him.
Now, she felt that, with this ability, she would no longer have to disturb Jack to protect her. Instead, she would be the one that would be helping him to handle some things.
Not caring much about the reaction that Celine had, Jack stroked her hair while waiting for her to calm down. After a few minutes, Celine finally got out of his embrace. She looked at him with a sincere expression on her face before she said, "Thank you darling." Immediately after that, she kissed Jack on the lips.
Although a little surprised, Jack still accepted that kind of gratitude from Celine. The kiss was not that long and only lasted a few seconds.
After Celine retreated, Jack finally focused and said, "We have to go and deal with this problem first. After that, we will go back home for lunch and test your ability." After saying that, he finally began driving once again, heading towards the Jesda residence as fast as possible.
