Without even him realizing it, the 30 minutes that he was given for preparation by the system had already elapsed. And, the countdown began.

Celine had been sitting beside Jack all this while. As for the matter of closing the store, they decided to postpone it a little.

Samantha had already gone out to look for food, because there were no cooking utensils that were present within the store. It was just that, she did not know what reason was keeping Samantha away for such a long time now.

But she could not help but be worried right now. Although the expression that was on Jack's face indicated that he was feeling pain and discomfort, it was not that intense.

"Jack, are you okay?" Celine questioned a little worried.

But, even after waiting for a few seconds, there was no response that came from Jack. Celine who was seated on the bed that Jack was sleeping on moved towards Jack's face, and realized that he had actually passed out.

Not knowing what to do, Celine decided to continue sitting beside him, waiting for him to wake up. In case there was anything that he needed, then, she was going to help him with it.

Just like that, time continued moving, but, Jack did not wake up. At the same time, Samantha who had gone out did not come back.

"Denali, can you confirm with Samantha about what is going on? She should have been back by now." Celine moved away from the bed, and looked towards the store where Denali was in before speaking.

"Okay. I'll do that." Denali responded. After that, she used the communication device that she possessed and tried to contact Samantha. But, after some time, there was no response from the other end.

This made her frown as she wondered about what had gone wrong. It was completely unusual that Samantha was actually going to ignore the call that she was receiving from Denali.

Not to mention the fact that the relationship between the two of them was not that bad, and was even at a level that the two of them were considered as friends, there was actually no reason for Samantha to ignore Denali's call.

It was also at this moment that Denali realized that there had to be something wrong. But, it was just that she did not understand what it was.

"Is there any problem?" Celine, who had not yet retreated back into the room asked Denali after looking at that expression on her face.

"Samantha is not responding. I think that is something wrong." Denali responded with a frown on her face.

Celine also did not understand what was going on. Actually, Samantha was supposed to have returned even before Jack became unconscious. But, it had already been over 30 minutes ever since Jack became unconscious, but, she had not yet even returned.nove.Lb/1n

Additionally, she had not given them a heads up about the reason why she was not coming back. After all, it was not that difficult for her to send the message to them, informing them that there was something that was delaying her.

"Could it be that the people from the Butterfly organization are acting once again?" Celine guessed.

When Denali heard that, she thought that there was actually a high probability of something like that happening. After all, currently, in the entire stronghold, the only enemy that they possessed was the Force organization.

As for the butterfly organization, the two sides had not yet collided. But still, due to the fact that Samantha was no longer a member of the Butterfly organization, there was a group that had come over to look for her.

After Samantha had left the store, she decided to go and look for better food. She did not just go to any cafeteria or restaurant that was around the area. Instead, she wanted to get the food that was located closer to the center of the stronghold.

She had managed to get good food. But, just as she was about to leave, she was intercepted. And, the ones that had intercepted her were actually members of the Butterfly organization.

"What is it this time?" Samantha asked a little impatiently. Since she had decided to move towards the center of the stronghold, she had taken some time. So, to go back, it was going to take her about 15 minutes to reach the store with the food.

"You already know the reason why we are here. We have been sent to come and fetch you. This time, it is actually the leader of the butterfly organization that has sent us." One of the ladies responded.

"I already stated that I am no longer part of the Butterfly organization. Why is it that you cannot let me go?" Samantha questioned with a frown on her face.

"Humph! Do you think that we don't know that? It is just that you currently possess a lot of information about our organization. So, you are required by the leader of our organization." The lady in the lead snorted as she responded.

"What if I say that I don't want to come?" Samantha questioned.

"If that is the case, then, we will have no other choice but to take you by force." The lady in the lead responded.

Then without waiting for someone to say anything, she moved and attacked. Not to mention the fact that she was two stars ahead of Samantha in terms of combat capabilities, but, she had also attacked abruptly, Samantha was not capable of reacting on time.

An attack landed on her chest, launching her backwards a few steps. The bag that she was carrying containing food was forced to drop onto the ground.

Samantha was grimacing in pain, and she was struggling to get back to her feet. But, before she could even do that, the two ladies moved forward and subdued her.

Knowing that she was currently in trouble, she wanted to inform Denali about the matter, but, the two ladies that were holding her down did not allow her to use her communication device.

"Don't try to play any tricks. We already know that you are with a group of people, but, we don't really care about that group. What we really care about is you, so, I hope that you cooperate with us, or we are going to be rougher than this." The other lady who was at nine star ordinary human level stated as she looked at Samantha coldly.

After that, the lady looked at the two that were holding Samantha down and said, "Let's take her back. We should get done with this as soon as possible."

"Yes." The two ladies responded before they carried Samantha into a car that was parked not far away from where they were.

What had happened here had attracted a small crowd. But, since the incident ended so quickly, the small crowd that had accumulated here dispersed not long after.

After Samantha was taken into the car, the car drove away. As for Samantha, there was nothing that she could do as currently, she was held tightly, not being given a chance of sending even a message to Celine about what had happened.
