Chapter 538 Why Not Invite Him Over?

After Samantha was taken into the car, the car drove away. As for Samantha, there was nothing that she could do as currently, she was held tightly, not being given a chance of sending even a message to Celine about what had happened.

After about twenty minutes, they arrived in the area that the butterfly organization was located. Since Samantha was taken when she was in the heart of the stronghold, the butterfly organization was not that far from there.

After they arrived here, the 9-star ordinary human lady looked at Samantha and said fiercely, "You better behave yourself here. If you don't do that, then you cannot blame for anything that happens to you next."

Samantha did not respond. She knew that since they had already arrived here, then, there was no chance that she was going to get out of here unless she got assistance from jack and the group.

She herself was not afraid about being here. After all, it was not as if she had committed a big crime that she needed to be punished for. So, she did not respond to the lady's words and decided to go ahead and enter the building that was in front of her.

The lady snorted the moment that she saw that Samantha was not responding. Still, she followed behind her, just to make sure that Samantha did not do anything stupid.

Samantha was already familiar with this place, so, she did not need to be led to know where she was supposed to find the leader of the organization, Phoebe.

It did not take her a long time to be able to reach this place. After she arrived, she stood on the side, and waited. After all, she had been brought over, but, she was not the one who came here on her own accord.

The nine star lady snorted when she saw this. She went ahead and pressed a few buttons on the security system that was placed at the entrance. After that, the door opened, and the group entered.

This room was completely different from the one that Phoebe used during her training sessions. Currently, she was seated inside this room that possessed a few furniture, and none of them was a luxury.

Anyway, Phoebe was not a person that really cared about luxury. All that she really cared about the most was training and getting stronger. And, had it not been just a form of etiquette, then, she would not even have bothered to have a room like this.

This is where she received people and handled official businesses. And right now, the matter concerning Samantha was considered official.

When she saw that Samantha had arrived, she looked at her for a moment, before saying, "Samantha, take a seat."

Samantha followed what she had been instructed. There was no fear in her heart, but, she was a little anxious. She was not sure if Denali and Celine were going to know that something had happened to her.

But, just thinking about the intelligence of the two ladies, she realized that they would definitely realize that there was something that had happened to her considering that she had been out for a very long time.

Thinking of that, she relaxed. All that she had to do while here was to make sure that she was not killed. As long as she was not dead, then, she was never going to be locked in here for a long time before she was taken out.

After Samantha took a seat, she remained silent and waited for Phoebe to tell her the reason why she wanted her here.

"Straight to the point. I don't have a problem with you leaving our organization. After all, everybody has a freedom of their own, and according to the contributions that you have provided to the organization, you are free to leave as long as you wish." Phoebe began speaking.

Well, she was not ready to waste a lot of time here considering that she needed to go back and train. She had yet to reach stage two of the superhuman level, and that was the current target that she was having in her mind.

"You decided to leave, that we don't have anything against it. But still, there's a rule that states that as long as you leave our organization, you definitely cannot go to an opposing force." Phoebe continued.

Samantha on the other hand was a little confused. As long as she could remember, she knew that there was no conflict between Jack and the butterfly organization, other than the issue concerning her.

But here, Phoebe was actually claiming that she had joined an opposing force? Could it be that there was actually a grudge that existed between Jack and the Butterfly organization that she didn't know? But how was that possible?

Phoebe looked at the confused expression that was on Samantha's face and couldn't help but scrunch her face. Still, she decided to continue.

"But, you have broken the rule. Initially, I really did not care about the fact that you decided to leave the organization although you were considered as a guardian here. Additionally, with that kind of power level that you possess, all of that came from our organization."

"I really wouldn't have cared if you wanted to join any other organization inside the stronghold. But, there is one of them that is completely out of question, and that is the Panthers organization." Phoebe continued.nove.Lb/1n

Samantha on the other hand finally understood where this was heading to. It seemed that Phoebe and the rest of the members of the butterfly organization had gotten information that she had somehow been involved with the Panthers organization.

"If that is the information that you received, then, you are Intel is wrong. It is true that I am somehow involved with the Panthers organization, but not directly." Samantha stated after looking at Phoebe who was looking at her.

Phoebe was not a person that liked roundabouts. So, although she was a little surprised that Samantha was saying things confidently, she decided to bring out the evidence. "According to the information that I have received, you have interacted with the leader of the Panthers organization, Sylvia, more than once.

Additionally, just today, not long ago, Sylvia came to the place that you are currently in. So, mind explaining to me the reason why a leader of an organization, a superhuman at that would come to the place that you are in if you are not involved with her?" Phoebe questioned as she looked at Samantha intensely.

"I have not said that I am not involved with her. But, it is just that the involvement that I have with her is completely indirect.

The person that I'm currently under is the person that is dealing with the leader of the Panthers organization. But, it is the leader of the Panthers organization that is looking for my boss for a cooperation, and not the other way around." Samantha stated seriously.

"Are you joking around with me? You're trying to tell me that that b*tch is trying to look for someone for cooperation? And who is this boss of yours?" Phoebe questioned. Of course, she would not believe that Sylvia was going to do something like this.

She herself had already interacted with Sylvia several times, and she knew just how proud Sylvia was. So, how was it possible that she wanted to cooperate with a boss that was not even known within the stronghold?

"If you want to know, I'll let you know. My boss is a superhuman, and the level of strength that he possesses, I don't really know because I cannot read him. Additionally, my boss is someone who doesn't like trouble, but, that does not imply that if someone looks for trouble, he is going to run away from it." Samantha responded.

Of course, she was not going to reveal any information about the cooperation that Sylvia had mentioned before. After all, that was a deal that had not yet been concluded, and, Samantha was not a member of the Butterfly organization to provide information to them.

"Another superhuman? How comes I have never heard of him?" Phoebe questioned.

At this moment, that nine star lady could not help but shake her head inwardly. At the same time, she exclaimed in her mind, 'How the hell are you supposed to know about something like this when you are continuously training, not even paying much attention to the information about the organization?'

Although she was thinking that way in her mind, she did not try to say that out loud. Otherwise, she might not know how she ended up getting her limbs broken.

"My boss just came in the stronghold recently. He usually keeps a low key, and that's why I said that he doesn't like trouble, but, he is someone that deals with trouble if it comes his way completely." Samantha responded as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Are you trying to threaten me?" Phoebe questioned. It might be true that she was a training maniac, but that didn't imply that she was an idiot.

From the fact that Samantha was calling Jack her boss, that implied that she was his subordinate. And, the actions of the Butterfly organization of bringing her here by force was definitely no different from provoking Jack.

Samantha did not respond to that. Anyway, to her, as long as she was alive until Jack and his group came over, then, everything was okay.

When Phoebe saw that Samantha did not have the intention of replying, she looked at her coldly and said, "Why don't you make a call and invite your boss over? I wouldn't mind chatting with him."
