Chapter 25 25: Escaped
"Blessing! Minor Curse!"
Allen's body glowed brightly like a glowing fish. The dark forest glowed brightly and the monster covered their eyes as they couldn't bear this bright light because of their habit of staying in dark places.
Not long after, a dark black smoke appeared out of Allen's plan and formed in a shape of a skeleton head A.K.A skull. Without a further ado, the skull separated into two and forcefully entered the two monsters' bodies.

Allen gasped looking at the effect of a minor curse. Not only it took a huge amount of mana from him, it is also continuous.

Komodian roared again and a red laser leap out from its mouth. The laser zoomed toward Allen withering every grass in its way. The laser seemed dangerous, too dangerous that Allen's spidey sense tingled.
The width of the laser surpassed 5 meters. Allen immediately cast a killing ray and palm lazer. Those two mixed into one and became a little bigger, but in comparison to the Komodian lazer, it looked like Allen's lazer is a son of that Komodian lazer.
But, it was enough to decrease the power of the laser. Allen immediately cast Golden Defensive Shield. A golden light covered Allen's body and a golden barrier appeared in front of him.
Boom!
The laser hit the barrier, and it easily breaks it apart, and it hit Allen.
"Arg!"
Allen spout a mouthful of blood, but he didn't get a critical hit. If the two barriers and the laser didn't decrease the laser power, Allen would have surely turned into ash in a second.
'Whew!"
He breathe a sigh of relief, he took a potion from his storage ring, and drink it. He didn't drink it all, he could store the potion for future use. He only drank a mouthful of it and another three or so mouthfuls of the potion were left in the potion bottle.
He put the potion back into his ring. He felt good as took a breath. The potion quickly kick in, and his minor injury disappeared.
He glared at the Komodian, but the Komodian already fell on the ground. It died due to mana deficiency and overused of mana. Overuse is only a term, the komodian used mana to the point where a single drop of mana was also not left inside its body.
The remaining Komodian whimpered, it shrank down. Its body trembled and due to its instinct, it felt terrifying. The terrifying power of Allen made the Komidian lay on the ground covering its head with its hand quivering.
An evil smile appeared on Allen's face. He raised his arms and cast "Minor Curse"

Alem heaved a sigh and looked at his surrounding. He noticed that his companions were missing. He didn't even remember that he was with a team.
He just forgot about them...

Finally, Allen realized that he was abandoned. They escaped the place while Allen was risking his life fighting the monster!
Anger filled Allen's body. It would be fine if they only escaped, but they also took 5 Tier 3 monster bodies that would get 5000 gold.
