Chapter 26 26: Tier 5 Monster

Inside the dark cave, the ground was covered with leaves. It looked like it was a nest of something similar to it.

Across there, a huge treasure chest and a small pit were there.

Allen looked inside the treasure chest, it was empty. Not even a single penny was there.

And inside the pit, a broken mirror was thrown...

Allen picked up the mirror, there wasn't anything special to it. It was normal, everyone including his sister used this type of mirror.

Allen could feel the trace of mana that lingered around the treasure chest.

A skill was used to open the treasure chest, no it was used to break the lock of a treasure chest.

Allen realized who this owner of mana was.

Allen former a first and gritted his teeth. A huge frown formed on his face. An evil smile hovered and he cast pyroblast destroying the cave.

"You guys will pay for this."

Allen murmured.

Suddenly, a cry echoes from behind. Allen's hair stood, and goosebumps appeared all over his body. His spidey sense tingled like hell, Without thinking for a moment, Allen ran outside the cave and hid behind a tree.

The monster looked like a gorilla but his body was smaller in size. It was around 5 ft tall. But its muscle was big and it had rage in its eye. The monster looked at the cave with a fierce look, a look that harbored every killing intent possible.

But fortunately, it didn't care about Allen at all. The monster smelled around and suddenly became alert. Without batting an eye at Allen, the monster leaped into the air and ran in a flash.

In an instant, it disappeared leaving a trail of mana.

"Haah!"

Allen relaxed... The pressure that felt like tens of blue whales sitting on its head disappeared.

"So, that was a tier 5... monster."

Allen's heart throbbed heavily. He decided to follow the monster, and find out what is it chasing.

Of course, Allen won't go even near that thing, he will observe the situation from hundred feet away in the sky.

Not only that, he won't even dare to offend it, why? Because he would be simply courting death. Not only tier 5 has a high defense that even his killing rays and palm laser can penetrate, but even if it could penetrate, Allen won't be alive to cast that.

An evil smile covered Ackerley's face, he had a satisfied look on his face.

"Didn't we survive that catastrophe? If we didn't leave those monsters to him, he wouldn't have gained this much treasure."

Ackerley took out a creature from Raul's bag. The monster was small and looked cute. It just looked like a baby bear, but at the size of a palm.

"Just look at this tier 5 monster's baby. If we sell it, we will get millions of gold. We will be rich! If we just fight with those tier 4 monsters, we may have killed them easily. But we would be killed by tier 5 monster."

"B-But, how did you know there was a tier 5 monster nearby?" Raul asked feeling guilty and depressed.

"It was due to this artifact." Ackerley took out a stone from his pocket. The stone was white.

"This stone glows when a monster is nearby. The more brighter it glows, the stronger the monster is. And you know, I immediately called you guys over, and we raided the cave. That brat must have fallen into despair when he didn't see his teammate. Hahaha." He laughed like a madman.

Raul looked down while Donyoku didn't even care.

Suddenly, a figure passed by them. The mercenaries immediately raise their guard and took a fighting stance.

The shadowy figure that passed by them returned toward them at a great speed. It jumped and landed near them.

A huge hole formed as the bear landed. An angry expression full of killing intent flashed in front of the trio.

"Oh shit!"

Ackerley cursed.

A pressure made the three of them kneel. Raul who was just a child couldn't even lift his head and stick to the ground like he was glued to it.

Ackerley barely held his head. He looked at the tier 5 monster. Despair and fear flashed in his eyes, as the bear walked in front of them.

The bear whose child was stolen couldn't hold its killing intent. Raul vomited a mouthful of blood. His ear and nose started bleeding.

Ackerley was in a little good condition as only blood flowed out from his nose and ear.

But, Donyoku wasn't even affected.

He first knelt, but after a moment, an aura covered his body.

A black aura that looked evil at a sight filled his entire body. He stood and glanced at the duo who was kneeling.

He ignored them and looked at Allen who was flying in the air many times far from this place.

And finally, he looked at the bear in front of him.

Instantly, the bear took a step back, Allen's eyes widen and he flew even further,

Raul didn't know what was going on.

But Ackerley stares at Donkoyku with wide eyes. His eyes widen to the point where they could just pop out.

Cracks appeared in Donyouku's body. An evil aura emitted out of his body, and his skin broke down.

White skin was revealed from the broken skin. The middle-aged face was replaced with a young one. Black eyes replaced the brown eyes. Plain lips were replaced with a red one.

And finally, the man's face was replaced with a woman's.

Hiss!

Ackerley held his breath, a shocked expression appeared on Allen's face.

The middle-aged man turned out to be a young girl!

The human I thought turned out to be a devil!
