Chapter 61 Rebirth

"I want them all!"

[Ding! Superpowers have been granted.]

[Ding! Host's new body has been created.]

[Putting the host's soul into the host's body.]

"Huh?"

Many notifications flashed in front of his eyes. The world in front of his eyes spun like it was a Beyblade.

Darkness covered his eyes again and gentle warmth filled his soul. Not long after, rays of light pierced through the gaps between his eyes and the eyelid.

"Hah!"

The boy jolty stood up, forcibly closing his eyes as he couldn't bear the light. It felt like the light was a sword trying to pierce his eyes.

After adjusting his eyes to the light, he patted all over his body trying to remove dirt from his clothes.

"Wow."

The boy exclaimed. His body felt new. It was a weird feeling. He had lived many years inside this body, but now it felt like this body wasn't his. He was full of energy. He tried to lift his hand, but after a second the hand responded.

It was like a lag. The body reaction was slow. His command was obeyed after a delay. But soon after moving his legs, hands, and body for some minute, his body adjusted to his soul.

Suddenly, a light flashed in front of his eyes.

[Roel]

[Level: 1 (Copied skill will have 1/3 of the original power)]

[Skills: (Telekinesis - F), (Wind Control - F). (Fire Master - E), (Heal - F), (Super Strength - D)]

[Copied Skills: None]

[Blessing: Copied skill's power may surpass original. (x1, x10, x50, x100) (Due to low level, it is extremely rare)]

[Copy Condition: As long as you make skin contact with the user for some time. (Depends on the skill level, minimum 2 min)]

"Hmm... It's a little hard to copy skills. Touching may be of no problem, but for a long duration is one thing."

Roel murmured to himself before going to a pond full of crystal clear water. He saw his reflection in the water.

He raised his eyebrows as he saw a handsome face in the water unfamiliar to him. But he accepted it since the system said it created a new body for him. So, his old body was reconstructed to make a new body.

A cold face filled with white skin. A handsome face that could attract the attention of many girls.

Roel ignored his appearance since it wasn't that important now. But he could use it as an advantage to copy powers from girls.

"I want to check how power is copied."

Roel walked towards his house. His face was emotionless. He had no enthusiasm even when he got powers.

A small old apartment. It was made up of wood and looked like it can break at any time. Roel entered his room.

The room was clean, the dishes were washed, and clothes were hung in the wardrobe. A study desk was near the bed, and the kitchen was further from his bed.

It was a one-room apartment, but even with a small space, it didn't look tight. Instead, it looked like it was spacious.

Roel didn't cook anything, he directly lay on the bed. He was tired, tired from his life and today's event.

For ordinary people, dying, rebirthing, and gaining power, would be a huge event. They would jump all over the place.

But, Roel, not even an inch of happiness was inside his heart. He looked dead inside.

"I should test my power..."

He took out his mobile below the pillow. He didn't carry the mobile that much as it didn't have much use for him. No one would call him or message him, games were boring, videos were time-wasting, and news... He would rather kill the reporters and make news out of it.

Roel searched for open space to test out his powers. He also researched about superhero academy, when a new admission will take place.

And searched for heroes and villains. He also searched some dungeons that mostly no one pays attention to for hidden training.

Skills were ranked from F to SSS. The ranking of skills determined a superhero rank. Superhero rank also depends on their skill controlling. As long as they have good control over their skill, their rank will rise.

For example, a superhero whose power is D-rank but has C-rank skill control. His rank will be C-rank.

A superhero who has two or three skills, their rank is complicated.

Villians' ranks are determined by the amount of damage they cause, the threat they are to the country, and which rank superheroes can catch them.

Best

Ordinary criminals are left to the police.

"Now, I just have to slowly gain power."

Roel raised his hands towards the ceiling and formed a fist. The fist fell down on his chest. His heart ached.

Why didn't I have powers before? Maybe I could have saved everyone.

Roel wanted to complain. But he held back his words.

No point in complaining.

Drowsiness kicked in. His eyes felt heavy. And the world of darkness again covered him.

Next Day-

Roel finished his daily task. Waking, Bathing, Cooking, Eating, Cleaning, etc.

Afterward, he left his apartment. He worked several part-time jobs. He had saved Ten thousand dollars.

But he didn't care about money. He rarely buys clothes, he buys month-worth of groceries and dumps them into the fridge.

He didn't have any hobbies. He had dropped out of high school.

So, his time was consumed by the work. The money he earned was saved, as he had no use of it,

Roel halted his steps at the bus station. He boarded the bus.

After five hours-

He reached the countryside. A place where not many people live.

The forest has many open grounds.

Roel didn't bat an eye at the village. He directly walked toward the forest.

Walking for 30 minutes straight, he reached the destination. A small open ground.

As he reached his destination, he sat on the ground. He was exhausted from walking for 30 minutes straight. Sweat dripped from his forehead. His body got drenched and his clothes got wet and sticky.

Roel didn't care about the discomfort. He sat for 5 minutes and stood.

"Time to use my powers."

He mumbled as he raised his hand.

"Telekinesis"
