[Confessing at the Party]

We decided to hold the party at the Ehrenbergs’ place during winter vacation.

This time, Tayte and I would be inviting out mutual friends and the party would be purely for fun rather than a formal one.

It wasn’t mentioned in【The Rise of the Weakest Holy Swordsman】, but the concept of ‘New Year’s Eve’ existed in this world as well. After the party was over, everyone would return to their family homes and spend time with their families.

By the way, as for Tayte and I…

“After the party is over…”

“Oh, let’s spend time together.”

“Yes♪.”

And so we decided.

In other words—well, you know how it is.

◇◇◇

The party at Tayte’s home.

I really looked forward to it, but… before that, there was a wall that we students had to overcome—the final exam.

“Tomorrow’s the final, huh.”

“Indeed. I’m getting nervous…” Tayte smiled, a bit tense.

Even so, she looked unfairly cute.

As soon as the exam was over, we would head for the Ehrenbergs’ residence and hold a party, but… after the party, Jarvis would go visit Andrei’s family home and there she would give her answer.

In other words, the party was Andrei’s last opportunity.

“What a pinch…”

“? Was there a subject you were having a problem with?”

“Ah… no, that’s not it. I was just thinking about Andrei’s matter that I told you about yesterday, remember?”

“! O-oh, that.”

Last night, I told Tayte about Andrei’s feelings for Jarvis.

Tayte had also helped Jarvis hide her gender, which took a lot off my plate. So this time, I once again decided to ask for her assistance to help Andrei and Jarvis get together.

…But this was a totally different issue, and we had a tight time limit.

I hadn’t been able to come up with a specific plan, too… wait, I must focus on the exam right now. After all, if I bombed the exam, I’d have to take supplementary lessons and throw the party out of the window.

“I’ve got to focus.”

I shook my head and thought only about the exam and the exam only.

By the way, starting with Jarvis, Raul, Eureka, Cornell, and Kleine–who had already confirmed that they would be attending the party–should be able to avoid supplementary lessons without any problems.

“…Huh?”

Then I wondered.

Would Andrei be okay?

I had told him that we would be having a party at the Ehrenbergs’ place and Jarvis would be there so he should confess to her then, but… it wouldn’t be funny if he couldn’t attend because he had to take supplementary lessons.

W-well, although he wasn’t a studious type, he was the eldest son of the famous and prestigious Fontana House.

He would do just fine.

“Ah, it’s Andrei.”

As I was thinking about that, Tayte found Andrei.

When I looked over…

“…………”

Andrei—looking like the end of the world was upon him—entered my vision.
