CH 215

[Preparation]

With the ball happening tomorrow, today we ended the student council activities early so the girls could try out their dresses.

Madeline was in especially high spirits, trying to decide which dress to wear among the ones the academy lent to her.

In the original novel [The Rise of the Weakest Holy Swordsman] Madeline became a member of Raul’s harem.

But with Raul and Eureka getting together in this world, she had to give up her love for Raul. Not to mention, her family lost its peerage.

However, Madeline didn’t let that get her down for long and was trying to find a new love now. I admired her positive attitude.

“Hmm… should I go with a dress with high exposure around the chest area like this one?” Said Madeline as she checked her dress in the mirror.

…It was just that she was too enthusiastic, which might backfire, in my opinion.

Tayte, on the other hand…

“W-what do you think, Barrett?”

“You look perfect.”

She looked like an angel. My heart might stop from her adorableness.

“G-geez, what do I do with you…”

The way she blushed after I praised her was also adorable.

“T-this kind of dress doesn’t suit me.”

“That’s not true. It suits you well!”

Kleine and Melia were having a blast as well.

Kleine, being the serious person that she was, disliked wearing extravagant clothes. She had been planning to wear a simple dress to the ball.

However, Melia had put a stop to her.

“You will look amazing in a cute dress!”

Pressured by Melia, Kleine wore the dress Melia handed to her.

It was slightly revealing like the one Madeline was planning to choose.

It completely overturned the image of Kleine Foslord as a girl.

“Oh, that’s pretty bold of you, Kleine.”

“N-no! M-Melia chose this for me…”

“Ehh, try to look in the mirror. What is that if not a small smile on your face?”

“Wha?!”

Madeline tested Kleine.

What a fresh sight to see.

–Of course, we couldn’t forget the last girl in the group.

“…………”

Jarvis held a yellow dress, staring at it.

She had a conflicted look on her face, like she wished to wear it but couldn’t make up her mind.

Just then, someone gently tapped on her shoulder.

“You don’t have to hold back anything anymore, Jarvis. You can wear whatever you want.”

“Andrei…”

It was Andrei.

Those words shattered the chains that bound Jarvis’ heart.

“Thanks, Andrei. I’ll try it on.”

“Yeah!”

Jarvis went into the fitting room with the dress in hand.

It must be a big step forward for her.

…Maybe she was going to try wearing a swimsuit one of these days.

And so, with various thoughts running through my mind, we prepared for the ball tomorrow.

I hoped there wouldn’t be any incident this time.
