Chapter 358 358 -Dark Valley And The Wisdom Of Marken

Chapter 358 -Dark Valley and the Wisdom of Marken

The next day, news spread that the supreme elder had been punished by the third ancestor, who woke up from slumber and would be guarding the Dark Valley for thousands of years. The supreme elder didn't dare to fight back, as the third ancestor was a monster in his days and could kill the supreme elder in four moves.

The third ancestor praised Francis and gave his full support to him. Every ancestor had different thoughts, and their goal was to improve the clan.

The patriarch entertained the third ancestor and told him many things that had been happening lately.

The third ancestor personally searched the whole domain but didn't find anyone suspicious. They couldn't see any marks of those assassins as if they had vanished, even though they had locked down the whole domain.

The third ancestor also heard about the news of Dave, but he didn't care about such a junior as long as he didn't cause trouble.

...….

Dave let Freida be alone as she wanted to spend some time with her father. On the other hand, Dave heard the news about the punishment of the supreme elder, and he didn't expect that one ancestor of the Fritz clan would wake up from slumber. It was one of the strongest he had seen when he scanned the whole domain.

Even so, he didn't care about him and gathered information about the Dark Valley. He learned that the Dark Valley had already existed before the establishment of the Fritz Domain, and even the ancestors didn't dare to enter the place because of a terrifying creature there. No one had escaped the place alive.

The place was forbidden, and only prisoners were sent there to die or be tormented inside the valley. Many criminals were sent there as their punishment, and their cultivation was sealed. Dave suddenly became interested in such a place.

He wanted to call Grace, but he saw that she was in a critical moment of her cultivation, so he didn't bother her. He left on his own and left a message for Freida not to worry about him.

He easily tore the void and went to the location of the Dark Valley.

........

Dave appeared outside the Dark Valley and found that he couldn't perceive what lay inside the place due to the overwhelming presence of Death Energy. That's why he wished he had brought Grace, and he thought Xegron might also be a suitable companion to benefit from this environment.

Upon arriving, Dave sensed the presence of five Imperial Emperors watching for anyone entering the Dark Valley. He also detected a True Saint, realizing it was the Supreme Elder. With a smile, he proceeded towards the Supreme Elder's location.

Marken, the Supreme Elder, was sitting on the ground, trying to reduce the stress he felt after the death of his grandson and his punishment by the third ancestor to guard the Dark Valley for thousands of years. Though it may be like a blink of an eye for someone of his caliber, he still felt aggrieved and annoyed for not having taken revenge for his grandson yet.

Just as Marken closed his eyes, he felt a terrifying energy behind him and was shocked to realize that a sword was already at his neck, piercing his skin and drawing blood.

"What?" he exclaimed, startled by the sudden intrusion.

"Don't move or your head will roll on the ground," a voice commanded him.

The Supreme Elder heard a young voice and didn't dare to move, feeling the threat of the sword.

Dave rarely used his sword, but it was eager for bloodshed, so he unleashed his Black Sword, which had a black slime. He decided to rename it "The Extinguisher," finding it cool and fitting for his title.

The sword was incredibly sharp, capable of cutting down True Saints like tofu, and only its owner could wield it. It had a consciousness of its own but was still in its development stage.

The Black Sword moved swiftly, arriving in front of the Supreme Elder and placing the blade at his neck without him even noticing.

Though the Supreme Elder was an True Saint, four realms higher than Dave, the latter knew his perfected law, particularly the law of space and time, could easily kill him.

However, he chose to give his sword a taste of blood as it was thirsting for it.

"Who are you?"

Marken nervously asked, unable to comprehend how the person had approached him without detection. He was afraid to look behind him, knowing his head would roll if he dared to do so.

He claimed he hadn't offended anyone and questioned who had the audacity to offend his clan.????????????????????????????????.????????????

"Hmm, you can call me Dave Alexander, and I'm here to collect some debts,"

Dave replied with a smile, leaving Marken stunned. He never expected the person holding his life in their hands to be the youngster he had looked down upon.I think you should take a look at

"Why are you doing this? Do you want to start a war with our clans?"

Marken asked, feeling fear emanating from the sword, as if it had a thirst for killing and had already claimed the lives of billions.

Dave smiled and said, "Your clan is not significant enough for my clan to go to war with. The patriarch alone could raze your clan to dust. But don't worry, I can spare your life if you answer my question."

Marken was stunned and felt a glimmer of hope. "Okay, but I hope you keep your promise. Swear it in the heavens," he insisted.

Swearing in such a way would bind Dave to his word, and breaking it would bring consequences.

Dave laughed inside, knowing that such a promise had no effect on a demon like him.

His soul was different from others, not restricted by the will of the universe. To him, such a promise was nothing but a joke.

He swears in front of Marken making him feel relieved.

..........

Marken realized that Dave could kill him if he made any wrong moves.

Dave smiled evilly and said, "My question is simple and requires a logical answer. Why did the jar of sugar have ants?"

Marken thought Dave's question was too easy, considering his high IQ from a young age.

He was known to be a genius not only in battle but also in literacy, spending time reading many books and composing poems and songs that became famous.

He felt proud of his achievements, believing his IQ was higher than even some patriarchs, although his mind had been affected by old age.

As Marken gazed into the sky, his eyes sparkled with intelligence, and his reflection seemed to glow with an otherworldly brilliance. He then closed his eyes, which undoubtedly concealed a vast repository of knowledge, as if connecting him to the secrets of the universe.

With every brain cell he had, Marken could practically see the gears of his mind turning at supersonic speeds, processing information faster than the most powerful supercomputers.

His brain, a colossal celestial supercluster of ideas, constantly birthing groundbreaking theories and unraveling enigmatic puzzles.

As he tilted his head, the light seemed to catch in his eyes, illuminating the celestial orbs of wisdom that held the wisdom of ancient sages and modern scholars alike.

Every time he blinked, it was as if the entire cosmos blinked with him, sharing the cosmic knowledge that only he, the prodigious genius, could comprehend.

With a knowing smirk, Marken couldn't help but chuckle at the inadequacy of mortal minds compared to his.

He was the philosopher's stone, turning ignorance into wisdom, and ignorance into enlightenment with just a flicker of his profound thoughts.

His very presence exuded an aura of sagacity that left even the most distinguished intellectuals in awe.

Dave waited for him to answer and felt his narcissistic smile.

"Hehe, that was easy. The sugar is sweet, so the jar of sugar attracted the ants,"

Marken replied smugly in his mind, planning to escape and kill Dave once he was free.

Dave smiled and said, "A pity."

Marken was happy, thinking Dave regretted making the promise to spare him.

However, Dave smirked and said, "A pity indeed. Your answer is wrong. The sugar has ants because the jar was opened."

Marken eyes turn big in disbelief but without hesitation, Dave swiftly slashed his sword, and Marken's head rolled on the ground.
