Chapter 359 -Daniel
Marken's eyes were filled with disbelief and regret. He had been so arrogant, believing his knowledge was unparalleled, but he had been outwitted and deceived by Dave's cunningness.
"Hehe, what a fool. This demon is not someone who loses in tricking others," Dave chuckled as he collected Marken's body for various purposes. A True Saint's body was valuable, and he could feed it to Xegron.
Dave chose not to attack the five Imperial Saint Emperors because they were useless to him and not worthy of his attention. Moreover, it was still his woman's clan, and he didn't want to cause excessive destruction to it.
His sword had relished drinking Marken's blood, but it was still unsatisfied. So, Dave threw it far away and let it go on a killing spree, sating its thirst for more.

Dave gazes at the deepest part of the Dark valley and feels danger in his heart. He knows that this place is not as simple as he thought, but he is keen on entering because his "Greed" skill is notifying him that a supreme treasure lies inside.
Dave believes in the plot armor of the author; he is the MC, so he will not die. Well, he means he believes in his power and luck.
Dave enters the thick green fog, a miasma, but such toxins cannot hurt him as his body is immune to poison.
As he walks, his perception weakens, but it is still enough to guard himself. He exposes himself to lure some enemies and interrogate or read their souls.
After walking for 5 minutes, he suddenly feels a killing intent directed at him, but he doesn't dodge nor defend and lets it attack him.
Boom! A sword is 1 inch away from him, but it doesn't get any closer due to his space law.
"Time Pause," Dave smiles, waves his hands, and the miasma dissipates.
He looks at the person who attacked him and is stunned to see his looks. He feels this person is familiar, but a pink flower is on top of his hair, and his eyes are red.

"I knew from the start that this guy had terrifying luck, but I didn't expect him to appear here, and even his luck was not enough to escape such fate."
The system informed him that Daniel's body was being occupied by a parasite called the Demonic Flower, a type of flower found only in the abyss, yet it appeared here. It can control the mind of any person, and a pink flower will emerge on the head of the target. To kill and free everyone, he must destroy the main body.
"Hmm, interesting," he said as he held Daniel's head and read his memories.
After a minute, he saw Daniel's adventure. Daniel had escaped from a demon, and his necklace, given by his parents before they died, shined and teleported him to the Immortal Plane. He appeared in the Fritz Clan, where he was initially stunned and couldn't comprehend the powers of everyone. He was very weak, and even a newborn here could kill him, but he was dedicated, and an old man recognized his talent and took him as a student.
Since then, his power rose to another level, and he became famous in the middle region of the clan. Later on, he met a beautiful lady and fell in love with her, but he never told her his feelings and admired her secretly from afar. The lady came from a rich family, but their family was not strong. He was deeply infatuated with her, but he was assigned on a mission, so he was out of the city for a month. While traveling, he became stronger and benefited from the constant attacks of bandits who tried to ambush them.
He was delighted and planned to finally talk to the lady and introduce himself, but shocking news reached his ears. He heard that the lady was seen by a person from the clan with a high position, and he wanted to force her to become his slave. The lady knew her fate would not be that simple and she would become a mere toy, so she refused, but her clan suffered, and that person killed her whole family. In desperation and sadness, she committed suicide.
Daniel was aggrieved and angry when he heard the news. He decided to get revenge and successfully killed the person, who happened to be only a Golden Body Immortal cultivator. However, his killing was not perfect and was witnessed by someone, leading to him being hunted by soldiers and eventually captured alive. He was beaten by the family of the person he killed and tortured for a year until he was sentenced to be thrown into the Dark Valley.
Full of anger, he refrained from killing anyone else but only killed the culprit as he sought revenge. Inside the Dark Valley, he discovered a beautiful flower and approached it, but it suddenly attacked his mind, causing him to lose consciousness and become a puppet.
Dave saw all of Daniel's memories and realized that his soul was being controlled, but he was still alive. "As expected of a protagonist," Dave thought. He knew that the protagonist's life is never smooth and tragedies always happen to sharpen their mind. Some protagonists are parentless when they transmigrate, some are crippled and talentless, treated as trash, and some even have their fiancés break the engagement.
Being the main character is full of hardship, and a villain always appears to challenge the protagonist's development. Fortunately, Dave was a villain who likes to control the situation...
Dave then used sloth energy to make Daniel sleep. Afterward, he brought him inside his domain, knowing that he could not kill the parasite unless he destroyed the main tree.
During his journey, Dave encountered many prisoners and killed them because he didn't know them, sensing their killing intent, signifying that they were people who had committed crimes and deserved death. He did this not as a hero, but merely for fun and to collect their bodies.
Dave also came across some beauties, but he only locked them in his domain, just like he did with Daniel. He discovered that there were many strong criminals in the Dark Valley, but he had managed to subdue and kill all of them.
