3 Kill Streak

An arm length sword appeared within his hold, it had a black handle with silver colored blade extended from the hilt. Fujimura didn't have a time to inspect the sword he just acquired, the moment that previous green icon finished its duty, he immediately took a step back and made a distance with the group of zombies. He observed how the zombies struggled on their way to reach up his location and this made him somehow grew a smirk.

As fearful as they are, zombie is still a zombie, the weakest creature of the part of undead army. It wasn't the lack of strength that made them the weakest, it is the lack of brain that hindered them from any sort of thinking which is a great weakness on any creature. Once they appeared a bit closer to him, Fujimura will retreat one step, thus the play of cat and mouse began as he led them into the labyrinth of a desk and chair. He went into left and right, and the zombies will stumble or got trapped by the line of class room furniture.

Soon, fifteen individual of zombies scattered among the students chair and desk arrangement, making unable to attack him as a group any longer.

The last fifteen zombie lunged at him, but this time, he no longer dodged, instead he swung the iron sword in his hand and completely beheaded the zombie.

It's so easy, like cutting a water melon, but far more crisp and fragile. How the hell he even thought about running before when killing is such a simple.

Looking at the zombie head which took an appearance of a middle aged man tumbled into the air, Fujimura eyes widened.

It's not a fear, or dread.

It's neither traumatic experience nor lamented brooding.

It's a simple feeling, the one that boiled your blood into a brim, the one that sate your hunger and thirst for more...

It's excitement!

Fujimura was so deep immersing in his first killing that he failed to notice, a strange orange bar at the bottom left corner of his sight, also unable to recognize the big number "1" at the right corner.

Soon, a moan sound entered his ears, one zombie got loose from its entrapment and already lunged toward his position. His teeth that had dried blood and rotten meat already opened wide, preparing to chew Fujimaru's body.

The blue haired glasses man didn't panic, in a swift, he raised the iron sword and proceeded to stab the zombie through its gaping mouth and pushed through its throat until reached the back of its head.

The zombie movement ceased but it still moved around its eyes and hands unceasingly tried to tear Fujimaru apart.

Fujimura tilted his head, he observed how the zombie's struggling to achieve its goals which is to take a simple chunk of meat that stuck on the surface of his bone.

Oh, the way it swayed its hands like a worm creeping on the tree, Fujimura twisted the iron sword in his hand and the zombie head followed in accordance.

Soon another zombie escaped from its confinement and began its siege on Fujimura position. He only gave it a glance before grabbing the zombie hair which is a youngster just like him, pulling the iron sword from it and separated its head, its body fell harshly onto the floor, the orange bar filled more than halfway and the number changed into "2".

The third zombie is a woman, seemed like university level of student, she wore a training attire complete with a pair of bloody white sneakers.

Fujimura smirked, he raised the zombie head on his hand, his eyes back and forth drilled at them.

You must have been died as a virgin, right?

Here, let me help you hooked up with a girl..

He approached the woman and slammed the youngster face onto her, the she-zombie stumbled backwards then she fell onto her back.

He strolled forward, raising one leg above her twin peak then immediately stomping hard on it.

"Urgh..." the she-zombie seemed let out a groan but he couldn't be more care about it. Fujimura snickered as if he considered what befell her is something worth to laugh at it.

What is it bitch? That young man isn't enough? Are you that desperate in need for a man?

Pfft sorry, I am not into a corpse!

He raised the iron sword and stabbed downward, finished the life of the souless body below his feet.

He visited two more zombies and easily killed them, like cutting an onion.

At least onion could make you cry.

As soon as two zombies fell onto the ground, a loud bell rang inside his head, and an explosion of orange color popped out on his sight.

Fujimura Hayato honestly startled at the bunch of text that lingered at the side part of his vision, he knew that the green icon did something weird with him but he never expect to such extent. Now he truly likes playing a video game.

At the same time, he also felt like his body had been tempered, he could feel his strength increased albeit it only slightly, not just strength, but his body also felt lighter and his skin as if hardened. Every strain of reflex inside his muscle gradually easier to move.

Fujimura observed the orange bar on the corner of his sight, it showed a big number but it slowly degrees, it's not fast but still noticed by him. At the right side on his vision, a yellow colored number "5" shone brightly. As if it was telling him to do something about it.

He pondered a bit, since there are still 10 more enemies inside the same room with him, he unable to remain relax for a long time. Thus, after giving his mind a little bit piece of his thought, Fujimura approached one of the zombies, he muttered, "Vertical Slash."

*Swoosh!*

As if the iron sword suddenly turned alive, it automatically moved toward the sky, taking his hand along and swiftly slashed downward, cutting the zombies in the middle, and separated its body into two, a perfect split.

Fujimura widened his eyes in amazement, he looked at the big number "5" at the corner, it changed into number "6" now and no longer glittered with yellow color. And the orange bar instantly filled quite many while still degrees slowly.

Whoever gave him this power, he or she didn't give him any sort of explanation thus he needed to figure it out by himself.

At least the mechanism seemed not complicated enough, tho he felt a bit disappointed about it.

Dodging a zombie claw attack, Fujimura swayed his head and cut the zombie's head off.

He killed the rest other three, the number changed into "10" and now it glittered once again, he shouted it inwardly, "Vertical Slash!"

The same thing from previous feat happen, the iron sword took his hand to the air, and he cut in the middle, one of the zombies. Earnings him an '11' number at the corner, and the orange bar almost full.

Taking a break for awhile since there were only four zombies left, Fujimura wanted to know what happened if the orange bar depleted a whole of them.

He went behind the teacher's desk, pulling some random chairs and tables with him and barricade himself.

After a ten minutes passed, the orange bar finally depleted.

The number '2' after the word 'Level' instantly went pale, it dropped down from the screen (I mean his vision) and number '1' replaced it.

He also felt his body is getting weaker as he returned to level 1.

What a troublesome level system.

Fujimura sighed, he cursed whoever gave him such a power is good idea, his or her head might stuck in the hole forever.

Also his kill streak... went back into 0.

"..."

Actually, such system is not a bad idea, it just mean that the more he killed the more he getting stronger. Hehe, if he didn't kill, than he was a useless thrash, just like those pathetic fool of miserable sod.

Perfect, this game mechanism is actual perfect for him, only kill that could make him feel so satisfied like that.

He slowly smirked and opened up his barricade, after knowing what and what about his strange gaming mechanism, he didn't hesitate on performing his killin spree.

After all, only that way, he could become strong!
