Range: Short - Mid

Special effect: None

Requirement: None

Material: Iron

Grade: Common

Description: A modest katana that is designed for ease of use, basic weapon held by a samurai or warrior from sengoku. It's a two handed type of weapon.

Ashura and Kotetsu, both are the cheapest katana type of weapon provide they are the weakest on the genre, each had their own usability and effectiveness. With Ashura clearly he had the advantage on movement and in case he had to fight in narrow space, he won't have to worry about his weapon clashing against the wall. Also, people may perceive katana as something long and took time to draw, having this weapon inside a scabbard or hidden inside his pant will certainly caught their guard off by the time he pulled it out and attacked. If he could hit with enough speed, his enemy wouldn't know what happen before their body hit the ground. Moreover, he could also keep the buckler on if he used Ashura. Now Kotetsu, it's a typical katana blade with considerable range, he could sweep two or three enemies at once, if the enemy was like those moaning brainless creature, it would certainly easy to execute but if he had to fight human, they will certainly kept wary against him and made sure to stay out of his range of attack.

In this chaotic state of the world, Fujimura knew soon or later he eventually clashed with other human being, some people is not exactly sane in the normal situation, they just hiding it deep inside because of society rule and paradigm. The moment they were allowed to do anything as they wish, that is when all hell had broke loose.

Not to mention those criminals and gangster, if no government around anymore, who would stopping them from rampaging the city?

Many people wished those times wouldn't come, where they might have to struggle against their own kind, where they had to stay on guard not just with the dead but also another human.

As for Fujimura, massacring the dead indeed gave him some fun, but as the time progressed, he knew it will eventually get bored, especially when these monster wouldn't provide him any more challenge. The only thing he needed to wary if they were grouping and made a one giant horde, like a hundred or two hundred, even he had to retreat when see such a fearsome scene.

Back to the matter in the hand, to be honest, both weapon provided him different function and he wished to have them both, but he couldn't draw a weapon from menu while in the middle of fighting and it would automatically replaced the weapon's main box, so he couldn't draw it out like the previous potion.

'Hmm...'

Fujimura crossed his arms and sank deep inside his thought, the lost of sounds in the vicinity area gave his mind a sense of peace and the fact that the time had been frozen allowed him to think as long as he can.

After a while, Fujimura glanced to Saeko on his side, he raised his eyebrows then faced back the interface.

'There is no harm in trying I guess...'

He bought 1x Ashura and 2x Kotetsu, it cost him 1200 G. He didn't know why these two weapon are more expensive than Iron sword and its brethren since it also made of iron.

Fujimura browsed the item section, he had in mind to search for any stuff that could cure him in case he got infected by the virus, curse, or whatever that drove this pandemic situation, but looking at the price of the item, his blood instantly boiled.

Item: Holy water

Effect: Healing you from zombie status.

Price: 1,000,000 G (due to the special circumstance)

Item: Virus antibody

Effect: Make you immune from zombie status.

Price: 10,000,000 G (due to the special circumstance)

Damn it, why the system even put this item on display if the number of zero on it almost made him crazy. He had to clear 200 stages, given it yield 5000 G for each time. And that's for one time use item only...

What an absurd predicament...

Well, he guessed if the items were cheap than there is no meaning of this survival, and the system perhaps didn't want to make it easier for him.

Unless there is a way for him to gain more money than just clearing the stage...

With that thought, Fujimura quickly access the

Fujimura eyes lit in spirited manner after seeing the list that had been displayed, especially toward Colosseum and Dungeon which is not only he could gain reward but also had a fight, not just alone but also taking his party member along. Of course by his current financial power it was impossible to buy them now but the range wasn't that difficult to cover. There was also this system: stage do over, that helping him to complete the rest of the objective he previously missed.

The system expansion could be said quite tremendous, there is summon feature that allowed him to call out any other being from different dimension to fight for him, and there is build mode feature that provided him an assistance to build something like those city management game.

But the price was just too much...

Instead wasting his resource with those extra add-on that he didn't even sure it would be useful, he prefer to gear himself up and increased his own chance of survival, including his combat prowess.

After struggling for a long time with shopping, he could only bough so much with 3000 Gold left:

1. Healing pack (800 G): 10x small potion

2. 1x Warrior ring (500 G): +2 endurance

3. Stage do over (1000 G): repeated the previous stage.

Another option had been added below the , it called .

As he pressed on the stuff, another unique interface filled the spot of his eyes, it had cream colored wallpaper now.

Mercenary: a feature where the player can hire people from different universe to help you clear a stage under certain price. You can hire more than one mercenary and they didn't take any of you party space. Their killing also won't affect your killing count or caused your combo meter to raise. In short, this people just there to fight and not else. They won't appear in free roam mode and other feature (Including Dungeon).

Mercenary can be divided by many categories:

1. Gender

2. Race

3. Weapon

4. Price

5. Rank

There were three kind of gender, male, female, and unknown. The kind like fire spirit and ice spirit certainly belong to unknown since no one know what gender they possessed.

The race of mercenary he could chose was surprisingly vast, not just magical creature, but alien also exist, something like a bangaa which is a overgrown lizard and a krogan which is like a turtle alien.

Weapon sorted the mercenary based on the their type of preference, from short to range, tradition and modern.

The lowest price started from 5000 gold for one stage completion till billions gold which made Fujimura shivered just imagining the quantity of zero on it.

There were five rank of mercenary: Novice, Experience, Expert, Master, and Grandmaster.

Since he couldn't afford any of the mercenary, Fujimura just briskly browsed the list with disinterest then he exited the interface. He went to check the last one which is the

Aside from just a feature to redo the previous stage, there were two additional feature the option provide: Super hard mode and all is enemies.

Super hard mode: the enemies inside will be more likely far harder to beat or kill than usual. For example: the zombies' movement is slow but they would become faster three times if not four in this mode. The enemies population would also become much dense than usual. This mode is good for challenge and the player didn't need to worry about dying since they would just return to the interface again.

All is enemies: A mode that will make every single character and creature from the previous stage to hunt you down, unless you brought mercenary(s), then you had no friend to depend, all people is your enemy, you are free to kill them as you wish and their dead won't affect the present time.

These two unique feature didn't have any objective at all, but if he managed to finish this, he will receive sort of reward by the end and he can took his party member or mercenary to help him, except All is enemies which is he only could take mercenary.

Albeit he wanted to test the simulation of the stage but he still quite weary now, despite he had spent a long time in the menu, his stamina wouldn't replenish inside of here.

Fujimura sighed and decided to just test it later, he equipped the kotetsu and accessory before exited the system.

A long weapon quickly appeared on his hand. The length was comparable to his own height and the blade curved almost like a crescent moon. The handle was brown colored. His iron buckler instantly disappeared the moment he grasped Kotetsu, indicated this weapon was meant to be hold by two hand.

What interesting was, when he tried to hold it in one hand, the blade suddenly became heavy, too heavy for his comfort until his other hand grabbed the handle once more and the heaviness gone in the blink of the eye.

The system knew he could use this in one hand thus forcefully raised its weight to block him from doing so.

"A nice weapon you have there... and your armor is not bad..." Saeko startled a bit after seeing Kotetsu for the first time then she immediately smiled at him.

"Don't you feel strange that I pull this sword out of nowhere?" Fujimura raised his eyebrows.

"You pull that from right? What's so strange about it?"

Fujimura snapped his head toward her, his eyes widened in horror.

"How?! How do you know about it?! How do you know I have ?!"

"Fujimura, calm down! Everyone know about it, why you are so surprise?" Saeko held him down and said hurriedly.

Everyone... know?

Fujimura expression froze, his eyes deep in shock.

Is it that mean... they can also use menu?
