CH 43.2

The dream ended, and Xie Jianwei woke up to beautiful morning in reality.

Waking up from his dream, Yan Ke told him: “My lord, keep up the good work!”

Xie Jianwei understood what he meant.

Continue to maintain this efficiency to appease Lu Li’s other personalities, and also maintain his way of getting along with Lu Li from the dreams into reality.

Two people who love each other need independence as well as dependence.

It’s like a spectrum— leaning to either side of the extremes is not good; maintaining around the middle, meaning proper balance and integration of these two attributes, is the key.

The word ‘love’ is not for momentary impulses— it’s about considering the future the two people would stay together for a lifetime.

If one wants to through a lifetime together with their partner, one should use their wisdom into it.

Lu Li felt a little tired when he woke up.  While rubbing his temples, he asked, “I slept for a long time?”

Xie Jianwei uttered some nonsense with  a straight face:. “Isn’t it because you slept too little?”

After all, if each string of personalities comes out every few hours, then even a twenty-four-hour-day wouldn’t be enough.

Lu Li was silent for a moment.

Xie Jianwei changed the subject: “Are you hungry? I’ll make breakfast for you!”

He was half-kneeling on the bed and with his wide collar pulled down, a large expanse of fair skin were exposed.

Lu Li looked at the little pink nub on Xie Jianwei’s chest and whispered, “…yes, quite hungry.”

Xie Jianwei said with great interest: “Well then, I’m going to prepare it.”

Unfortunately, before he even got the chance to stand up, Lu ‘Big’ Li  already pressed on him on and bit the pretty little pink cherry: “I’ll eat some fruit first. “

Xie Jianwei felt ticklish and berated: ‘No fooling around during the day.”

Lu Li raised his hand to make a gesture, and the curtains closed automatically, blocking the sunlight shining through the window. The rogue-like Lord Marshal then said, “Now, it’s dark.”

Xie Jianwei didn’t know whether he should cry or laugh.

Lu Li, upon realizing that the bell he stole while he was plugging his ears1 didn’t make any sound, waved his hand again to turn on the lights in the room, and he could now see the full picture of his beautiful Military Advisor.

Seeing Lu Li’s twinkling eyes, Xie Jianwei couldn’t help but give in: “Hurry up, don’t delay me in making breakfast.” He then hooked his legs around Lu Li’s waist.

The Marshal’s heart trembled, and he went straight to the action without long foreplay.

And so, breakfast and lunch flew out of the window.

The Lord Marshal went to work after a satisfying “nutritious meal”, while the Military Advisor soaked himself in warm water to relieve his fatigue.

Military Advisor Xie was now reflecting: He really shouldn’t indulge that scoundrel on sexual matters! If he doesn’t help him, he won’t finish; but if he does, that hoodlum always turns into a lion in heat!

But …… Xie Jianwei couldn’t help but raise the corners of his mouth. Lu ‘Big’ Li ‘s unrestrained urges was pretty cute.

He remembered that the first time they did it on that desolate star, Lu Li was so nervous he couldn’t find the right place for some time, as it would always slip…

Cough! Cough!….

Xie Jianwei thought about what happened at that time… and his cheeks flushed slightly…

…<<<2

Xie Jianwei knew that Lu Li liked him, but this admiration was not because he was his teacher or as his elder— it was because of sexual urges.

The two of them were the only ones living on the barren star, so they didn’t need to care about anything every day.

Xie Jianwei’s head was like a huge library. He taught Lu Li countless knowledge and the latter also learned really fast. Lu Li was especially talented in military affairs. He could see through anything, could always give his own unique insights, and often times impressed Xie Jianwei with his thoughts.

They were actually attracted to each other.

Lu Li had the vitality and energy that Xie Jianwei lacked.

Xie Jianwei had the knowledge and wisdom that Lu Li craved for.

During those years on the barren star,  Lu Li received a new future from Xie Jianwei, and Xie Jianwei found the strength to continue living from Lu Li.

So when Lu Li showed that kind of interest on him, Xie Jianwei didn’t reject it at all and rather,  found it interesting.

Lu Li wanted him, and he himself even got some reactions every time Lu Li looked at him with eyes full of aggression and desire.

Perhaps in Lu Li’s eyes, he was the only one who had such evil thoughts— that he led Xie Jianwei astray, pushed him down, and violated this “savior” of his.

Xie Jianwei never avoided Lu Li’s gaze ever since the moment he noticed it. He even asked Lu Li to take a bath with him, purposely slept next to him, and deliberately hugged him tightly during the cold nights.

How could an honest and hot-blooded stand it?

Lu Li’s ability to persist for two months was already very remarkable.

Through the tiny hole pierced through the paper window, an apple tree was blooming. The large expanse of white flowers that covered the branches were falling into the ground, like clouds descending from the sky. A soft breeze blew by, and the tender petals swayed gently, looking so lovely.

Xie Jianwei sighed with deep emotion: “It’s so beautiful.”

Lu Li couldn’t see the flowers the only existence he could see was Xie Jianwei, who was a hundred times more beautiful than those white flowers.

Xie Jianwei smiled and said, “Actually, the apples are delicious…”

As soon as his voice fell, Lu Li finally couldn’t stop himself from kissing Xie Jianwei.

The first kiss.

They savored each other’s tastes if they were walking on the edge of the sky amidst floating white clouds.

An inexperienced, clumsy, and fragrant kiss.

It was probably a good blessing from the flowers that will soon bear fruit, spreading sweetness throughout the space and celebrating the beautiful encounter with the swaying branches of the tree.

Both of them were panting after their lips separated.

Lu Li’s dark eyes flickered, seemingly uneasy.

But Xie Jianwei leaned closer to him and asked softly, “Do it?”

His voice was like that of a singing siren, instantly capturing Lu Li.

They entwined with each other on a lonely desolate star, using the sky as a blanket and the ground as a mat, as they rose and fell amidst the white mist of scattered flowers.

…Xie Jianwei thought of the still unskilled and somewhat shy Lu Li back then…

About how careful Lu Li was when he first entered him, and his worried expression when he asked him if it hurt ……

Xie Jianwei looked down, and saw that there’s some white sticky liquid mixed in the warm water.

He stood up abruptly, his fair body showing a pink glow.

Embarrassment quickly filled his mind.

They obviously did it a few times last night, then why….

Why did thinking about what happened years ago made me so……

I’m really shameless bah!

He hurriedly cleaned the bathtub, took a shower, cleaned himself up and walked out of the bathroom.

It was already late in the afternoon. Xie Jianwei checked the time and figured that it was time to prepare dinner.

He enthusiastically went to the kitchen, only to end up being startled by the AI  who was preparing the meals.

The rather sweet-looking little AI approached him: “Sir, do you have any instructions?”

Xie Jianwei wanted to say, “I’ll prepare the dinner”, but held it back in the end. These little AIs are very naïve, and the only thing they wanted to do is to make nutritious meals. The kitchen is, basically, their paradise.

If Xie Jianwei rashly invades it’s heaven, it might panic, and think that Xie Jianwei was dissatisfied with its performance. Perhaps, it would even secretly go to the factory to request for some repairs for itself.

It was quite painful thinking about it.

Thus, Xie Jianwei could only say, “Nothing, just looking around.”

The little AI became excited again. It began to explain how well-balanced its meals were and how beneficial this was to the Marshal and Military Advisor’s health. It also talked about how fresh the ingredients for the apple pie that it was making for dinner and how great the pie would taste after the two sirs ate …

Xie Jianwei: “…”

While listening to the little AIs endless chatter, another thing came into his mind.

Speaking of which, he used to be quite irresponsible, wasn’t he? The programs of the little AIs were all set by him: nutrition first, healthiness for the second, then fresh ingredients, and finally, reasonable taste.

But he didn’t even set Lu Li’s preference specifically.

Things like apple pie would remain on the table!

No matter how good and nutritious it was, it’s still useless.

Because Lu Li doesn’t eat apples…Xie Jianwei suddenly felt a bit ashamed. He really couldn’t blame Lu Li for his anxieties. This kind of thing was enough for Lu Li to contemplate about his(xjw) lack of interest in him.

It’s not that he didn’t know Lu Li’s taste, but he didn’t take it seriously.

And thinking about it now, he shouldn’t ignore these little things.

Because sometimes, the depth of a people’s affection couldn’t be seen on how they act during the major and big events, but on how they pay attention to the small details of everyday life.

Xie Jianwei wasn’t that attentive in the past, but now that he had come to realize this shortcoming, he’s going to start improving this aspect of him from now on.

So first, he had to change the little AIs’ program: These little ones could still make an apple pie but only in small portions, just enough for one person.

Xie Jianwei was about to make the said adjustment when the little AI said shyly: “Sir Marshal was always the one touching my chest, so now that it’s the Military Advisor doing it, I’m feeling shy.”

Xie Jianwei: “…”

The settings interface of the little AI was on its chest and therefore, the so-called ‘touching its chest’ means changing its set-up.

As soon as Xie Jianwei heard what it said, he directly checked its records, and…  felt even more ashamed.

Lu Li had adjusted the AI’s settings a lot of times, especially during the times when the season changes. The taste preferences were all based on Xie Jianwei. He had also upgraded its system,so that when chefs within the entire galaxy have new delicious dishes, the AI would be notified. Lu Li would then buy the recipes and put it on the AI’s program so that it could make the same delicious foods.

Xie Jianwei quickly added all Lu Li’s preferences.

After doing all of that, Xie Jianwei still felt that that wasn’t enough. He pondered for a moment, and then got an idea.

The kitchen utensils in the ancient earth had become antiques, but they were still used for exhibitions.

Since Xie Jianwei stayed in the dreamscape for so long so it wouldn’t be that difficult for him to reproduce some of the ancient earth’s dishes.

It didn’t take long before Xie Jianwei received all the utensils he ordered.

Then, he purchased fresh ingredients from the Star Net, put on his apron, and started to work.
