Chapter 164 - I am not your boyfriend

Sara stomped out of the hospital room in fury, she didn't even look at him. If it was not him, she will not be embarrassed like that.

She sat on the passenger seat and didn't even look at him or talk to him. She looked out of the window, pouting her lips.

Michael didn't dare to poke the volcano who can erupt any time. He cleared the throat and drove home silently.

On reaching home, they saw Jennie and Andrew waiting for them outside. Michael parked the car and both Sara and he got out.

They looked at each other before going to them, as if they were talking with eyes, and asking why they were there.

Seeing Sara and Michael, Jennie went close towards them and Andrew followed her.

"Boss, lady boss. I have something really important to report to both of you." Jennie said politely.

"Let's go inside, it's not a good place to talk." Sara said, walking towards the gate, while Michael and others followed her.

They sat on the couch, when Jennie told them what she heard, she didn't mention her killing Sara but instead she said she killed who used to love Michael.

Sara and Michael looked at each other, she was afraid not for her but her baby. She touched her belly afraid she may lose her baby because of a psychopath.

Michael understood what Sara was thinking, he held her hand and nodded as if he was reassuring her that nothing will happen to her and their baby.

She sobbed, if it's only her she would be not even scared to go against her but now it was different. In the war of love she didn't want to sacrifice her baby.

"Jennie, report me everything that Siara does." Michael looked at Jennie and ordered her.

"But boss, it will not be safe to work alone. How about I join her." Andrew interrupted.

Jennie looked at him and smiled, if it was before, it would not matter to him but suddenly he was caring about her. She sees hope for the first time.

"Then who will do your work?" Michael raised his brow.

"I-i"

"Aiyo, someone else will help you. Anyway your work is not important." Sara hindered the both.

"My work is not important?" Michael was taken back by her words.

"Andrew takes care of Jennie. And stay with her twenty four hours." Sara said, ignoring Michael.

"But boss." Jennie tried to refuse.

"He is not important." Sara said looking at Michael.

"Agree to my words or get ready to sleep outside." Sara whispered softly.

Michael nodded to it immediately,"Yes, I have your lady boss." He said putting his arm around Sara. "Jennie, you can take him. Just don't forget your work." Michael said with a smiling face.

Hearing him, Sara pinched him in his back. "When did I say I would help you?" Sara whispered glaring at him.

He ignored her glares,"Now go, and do what I asked." Michael said looking at Jennie and Andrew, both were clueless about what's going on with Sara and Michael but they dare not ask them.

After Michael asked them to leave, both left. Going out, Jennie looked at Andrew,"You don't want to go with me if you don't want to. I can take care of myself." Jennie said, smiling.

"No, how can I let a lady alone? I will be killed by your boyfriend if something happens to you." Andrew walked past her.

"I don't have a boyfriend!" Jennie stated gathering her courage. She was scared that he would stop caring for her after knowing she didn't have a boyfriend.

Will he care about her if she was single? But she can't lie about it just because he would care about her.

"Huh?" Andrew caught off guard, he looked at her cluelessly. Jennie gathered all her courage. She took a deep breath and went close to him.

"I don't have a boyfriend." She said looking at his eyes.

"Oh! Sorry, I thought you did a makeover for your boyfriend."

"It's for you." Jennie said leaning her head below, afraid he would laugh at her.

"Huh!?!" Andrew's jaw dropped. "Why would you do a makeover for me?" He said in utter confusion. "I am not your boyfriend." He said.

Jennie felt disappointed, she looked up at him smiling,"Nothing. I was joking." She said leaving him.

Tears flowed down her eyes, on hearing him. Yes, it doesn't matter how she looked, for him she was just a friend. She ran to the nearest bus station to grab the bus to her home.

She hasn't bought her car since Andrew dropped her. She sat down in one of the seat, weeped. If she weeped her heart would feel better.

Why did she even think he would love a girl like him? She was not beautiful nor rich like his other girlfriends. She was just dreaming that he would accept her just because she got a makeover.

"Here." Someone handed her tissue. She looked up, he smiled at her.

Jeremy had to meet one of his clients but after coming back, his car broke down close to that bus station. Since it was raining heavily, Jeremy thought of taking shelter in that bus station and saw Jennie sitting there and weeping.

He tried to ignore her but he couldn't take his eyes off her.

He felt sad on seeing her weeping, he went close to her and offered her a tissue. "Take it. I just happen to don't like to see a beautiful woman weeping on this rainy day." He said seeing her hesitating to take the tissue. He sat down beside her, and looked at the rain.

"Thank you." Jennie said weeping her tears. She was grateful that he offered a tissue when she wanted it most.

"So, what happened." Jeremy asked.

Hearing his question, she was not sure if she should say that to a stranger.
