Chapter 271: A Dragon's Skills

Noah glanced at the large torn apart corpse in front of him.
The Draconic Father of Windstorms, Vayu, was a formidable SS-Rank monster, and it most likely would give a nice boost to Noah's power through its flesh and nourishment, Noah was particularly eager to see what he could get by eating him.
As it was torn apart, the entire corpse was gargantuan, but when it exploded it became several pieces of flesh, bones, scales, guts, and more. Its gigantic brain was made into a pulp too, and Noah began by shapeshifting his entire body, breaking it apart, and fusing it with his soul to become something truly deplorable and grotesque…
He used this monstrous form to open an enormous jaw and devour the entire pile of the brain, alongside the skull, the eyes, and everything in between.
The brain was… delicious. Noah began to consider if he was some kind of zombie, but the brain was particularly exquisite!
The brain was creamy, rather slimy, but sublime on its sweetness and juiciness. It had a rich taste that remained within Noah's palate for some time.
The bones were crunchy and incredibly hard to break, expected from a Draconic Father! However, they had tasty and bloody bone marrow inside, making them also quite the delicious feast.
The eyes were crunchy and juicy, and rather flavorful. And the scales were incredibly hard to chew, so Noah simply swallowed them.
He continued with the muscles and bones of the rest of the body, all of them were flavorful and rich, and the blood was the sweetest, Noah felt like his strength soared by merely drinking it.
After having eaten over half of Vayu's corpse and having drunk most of its blood, Noah felt a strong boost in power…

However, before that he tried out his new Skills, quickly activating them in succession.

[Draconic Father of Windstorms Aura (S)] created a powerful aura of strong windstorms around Noah's entire body, which flowed with emerald colors all around his body rather gloriously. When he concentrated his mana into it, the winds acquired the shape of a furious dragon.
[Draconic Emerald Metallic Scales (S)] gave him an even stronger coat of scales, which he was able to stack with the other Scales Skills and even the Exoskeleton Skills to get an even tougher armor outside of his body, now carrying the might of a true Dragon with it.
[Might of the Dragon (S)] was an active skill that enhanced Noah's power and added the power of a dragon into it, which was a great enhancement into all of his stats by around 100%.
[Windstorm Dragon Roar (S)] this Skill was used by roaring, releasing a powerful shockwave that produced slicing winds that impacted the enemy with the might of a true dragon, lowering their stats, with the chance of causing paralysis and other status effects such as Fear or Horror, when combined with the Wyvern Roar, it became a terrifying power which Noah didn't possess before.
Noah felt satisfied with this power as he smiled pleasantly.
"With this I could enhance my way of fighting to a new level, using the power of wind will enhance my speed even more, and my range and flexibility have become greater…" thought Noah.
After this, Noah decided to call Iris and everyone else, as they held a barbeque, very unbefitting for very "refined" vampires such as them, but Noah didn't honestly give a single fuck over it and wanted to pass a good time with his wife and his servants, as he considered everyone his family.
Iris showcased her great developing cooking skills, as she used a variety of techniques to roast the meat, make hamburgers out of the minced meat, and even extract the bone marrow to make meatballs which came accompanied with dragon bone soup.
Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, the maids and butlers cooked the most with Iris's assistance, as the Vampires of the entire guild joined (well, those that were not working somewhere else).
Noah immediately fell in love with the preparations, he knew that what was needed was to properly cook this food into delicious meals for its flavors to blossom. The dragon meat steaks were perhaps the most delicious ones, as the meat was roasted and made even tender, and afterward, it was enhanced with the seasoning, making it truly a delightful thing.
Noah also liked the bone soup, which also had many other ingredients such as potatoes and so on, and it was excellently seasoned, everyone ate the bones too, and the bone marrow meatballs received many praises.
The Vampires were pleased to eat the food cooked by their Mistress, the Vampire Queen Iris, and by that sole thought, the food was made even more delicious to the Vampiric members.
After most of the dragon was cooked and eaten, Noah had eaten hundreds of plates and was finishing off the last meal, a large, around meter-big emerald jewel that was inside the corpse, it was named [Draconic Father's Heart] and it seemed to be the equivalent of a Blood Core that Dragons in the world where Vayu originated had… Of course, Wyrms seemed to not have it, or perhaps they had it, but Noah never ate it at that time, as he was not able to get Skills from devouring.
However, he was too strong now to get anything from monsters so weak, but he could do with this now.

The last bite of the dragon's heart was eaten, as Noah felt a substantial boost to his capabilities once more, even his stats increased! And he gained new Skills to boot, surprising him.
